Moroccanoil Smoothing Mask Review

Hair type: Fine and Damaged.

Hey, everyone!

The product that I will be reviewing today is Morrocanoil Smoothing Mask. Since I have dry and damaged hair, especially at the winters, I needed something which is more hydrating than a conditioner and this smoothing mask works pretty well for my hair.

Price: Rs 2790/-
Product Description:
Use this highly concentrated argan butter hair mask to smooth and tame unruly and frizzy hair. Moroccanoil® Smoothing Mask is infused with argan butter, argan oil and coconut-derived fatty acids to deeply hydrate and intensely nourish, leaving you with soft, smooth hair that is more manageable. Provides long-lasting conditioning while improving elasticity.

My Experience with Moroccanoil Smoothing Mask

Like the shampoo, even this one comes housed in a square coloured plastic jar with a twist up cap. All the details including the name of the brand and name of the product are mentioned in the cap and the usage and ingredients are mentioned around the jar. Since I mentioned in my last post that I am quite impressed with the shampoo, which made me have high expectations for the mask and it didn’t disappoint me. I use this mask on the ends every day and once in 15 days as a mask and it really improved the texture of my hair, it has made my hair smoother, softer and has given slight volume without making it oily, sticky or flat.

The smoothing mask has a thick creamy texture that glides smoothly on the hair. It easily covers every strand of the hair and feels very lightweight. It is supposed to give proper nourishment and hydration to the hair. I apply this onto the ends of the hair for 5 minutes after I wash my hair and it does make my hair look healthy and moisturised. When I use this as a mask I leave it on for about 20 -30 minutes and wrap my hair with a towel and it makes my hair incredibly soft, smooth and hydrated. It has the same signature scent as the rest of the collection has.

Pros of Moroccanoil Smoothing Mask:

  • Leaves hair smooth, soft and voluminous.
  • Hair feels hydrated.
  • Leaves a nice shine on the hair.
  • Spreads evenly.
  • Covers every strand of the hair.
  • Can be used as a conditioner also.
  • Amazing scent.

Cons of Moroccanoil Smoothing Mask:

  • Expensive.
