Hope you all are doing great. Today, I will be reviewing an eyeshadow palette by Make Up Academy (MUA). Read on to know the details of the product.
Highly-pigmented shimmer colours, ranging from green to purple, allowing you to create endless looks fit for day or night. Each of the 12 shades can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a personalised look. There’s an assortment of colours from blues and blacks to purples and pinks. They’re glittery but they’re not completely full of glitter so they won’t fall down your face or cheeks when wearing.
Talc, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Bis-diglyceryl, Polyacyladipate-1, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, CI 77891, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 77007, CI 77742, CI 77510, CI 77491, CI 42090, CI 15850.
This palette consists of 12 eyeshadows. The palette has a transparent lid and there is information at the back. The packaging also includes a sponge tip applicator – which is completely useless. Also, this packaging does not feature a mirror. The packaging of this palette is sturdy and it has never opened in my bag. The names of the shadows are printed at the back of the case along with other details like expiry date etc.
My Experience with MUA Eyeshadow Palette Glitterball:
I bought this palette around Christmas and have been using it immensely since the festive season. It has 12 shades and all of them have glitter in it. The glitter particles are finely milled and they do not look over-the-top or gaudy when applied on the eyes.
I use my fingers to blend these eyeshadows and they blend really well. The texture of these eyeshadows is smooth and they do not feel harsh on the skin when applied even though they are glittery. The quality is great, in my opinion.
This palette features highly pigmented glitter shadows that range from green to purple. There is also a silver, a gold and a copper shade in the palette, hence you can easily create day and night party makeup looks.
These shadows last about 8 hours on my oily eyelids without smudging or creasing. I do use a primer under my eyeshadows, though. There is a minimum fallout with these eyeshadows but that can be taken care of. I usually use a tape under my eyes to prevent this issue or simply powder that area.
Overall, it is a wonderful palette with beautiful glittery shades that are apt for the festive season.
