Lovely hello to all my beautiful friends,
I have very dry skin which turns dry-combination during summers and whatever be the weather and season, it always behaves as if it has its own mind. 😛 My skin is very sensitive and any new product is prone to break me out. I get pesky pimples here and there, especially when I have to go out or when some event or party is near. 🙁 I always keep some acne spot treatments handy and bought this product in another quest to buy the perfect spot treatment which works effectively and quickly. So let us see if it clears all these tests or not. 🙂
Speeds healing of stubborn blemishes on-the-spot and quickly clears active breakouts while preventing new blemishes from fully developing. Sulfur and Salicylic Acid give Acne Spot Treatment the power to deliver effective, on-the-spot acne control the moment you feel a blemish developing. Convenient size makes it easy to provide extra attention to a stubborn blemish anytime, anywhere.
How To Use:
Apply the product sparingly to 1 or 2 small affected areas during the first 3 days of use.
USD 16 for 0.5 FL. OZ/15 ml.
My Experience with Murad Acne Spot Treatment:
Murad acne spot treatment comes in a small inverted tube. The tube is transparent and has a screw-on cap which closes securely and you can toss the tube easily in your bag without worrying about the product spilling all over. The nozzle is very small which gives you an easy control over the quantity of the product.
The spot treatment is pale yellow in color and of slightly creamy and runny consistency, so one has to be really careful while taking the product out of the tube as even the tiniest bit of pressure on the tube and more than required product will come out.
The product really works and that too pretty quickly, in hours, literally. I applied it on the acne which was about to pop up at night and by morning it was gone. I literally checked my face twice but couldn’t see any sign of a zit being there last night. But when applied it on the a bit older acne, it took a bit of time (couple of days) to clear it up. So, I feel, it is best applied as soon as you feel acne coming up and it will stop it from swelling up. I have tried out many products to zap my acne, but I found this one to be the quickest.
The product is not too drying for my skin. I apply it on clean skin before applying any moisturizer or any other treatment, only to areas where I have zits or I feel where a zit is coming up. It has a slight sulphur-like fragrance but it goes off as soon as the product dries.
Though I do feel that it is pricey since the tube is very small, but a tiniest bit is required per application so the tube will last me long. A very thin layer is to be applied on the affected area and it dries up clear, so I don’t have to worry about it staining my pillowcase and bed sheets, but if a bit too much is applied, I found that the layer turned white and a bit flaky when I got up the next morning.
Pros of Murad Acne Spot Treatment:
- Not tested on animals.
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Very little product required per application.
- Makes zits disappear even before they pop up.
- Fragrance fades away as soon as the product dries up.
- Doesn’t dry out my skin.
- Would suit all skin types.
Cons of Murad Acne Spot Treatment:
- Pricey for such a tiny tube.
- An old pimple takes time to go away.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Murad Acne Spot Treatment?
This tube will last me long time, but I would repurchase it for sure if something better doesn’t comes in my way. 😉
I would recommend it all the girls who are looking out for an effective treatment for zapping out the acne.
