In this post, I am going to review a lip balm from Naturals By Watsons and it’s the Argan Oil Lip Balm. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Naturals By Watsons Argan Oil Lip Balm:

Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The lip balm comes in a normal cardboard packaging. The entire product-related information is printed at the back of this outer packet. The packaging is very basic. The small lip balm tube fits into my pocket or clutch very easily. The lip balm tube comes up with a basic twist0up mechanism, which works pretty smoothly. The cap which shuts nicely with a satisfactory click sound and makes it fit for carrying around.

This is a normal non-tinted lip balm. I always prefer to wear a clear lip balm before applying my lipstick so that the original color of my lipstick shows through. Since this is a clear lip balm, it has become my current favorite. It does not have any sheen, shimmer or color. It has a slight glossy finish which settles down later on. The lip balm has a sweet berry fragrance which is not too strong. It has a refreshing and non-bothering fragrance. I like the smell of this lip balm.

The texture of the lip balm is nice. It is very smooth, creamy and glides on the lips effortlessly without any tug or pull. The texture is thick and feels quite heavy on the lips, but it is absolutely non sticky, so feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is nice and moisturizing. I prefer using it at bedtime, it stays put on my lips till morning and keeps them healthy and nourished. I have normal lips these days and this lip balm is keeping my lips properly hydrated. It conditions my lips really well and makes them look healthy.

It helps to heal normally dry lips, but if you have extremely dry and flaky lips, this may not work wonders for you instantly, but regular use for some days will definitely resolve the issue. The lip balm does not come with any SPF, which limits its use to indoors only.

The lasting power of the lip balm is somewhere around 4-5 hours on my lips without any eating or drinking though it loses its glossy sheen but it keeps the lips moisturized for long; reapplication is required after meals.
