Skin Type: Combination and acne prone

I bought two products from the “Nip + Fab’s” glycolic range to try how this “glycolic” thing actually works. You can read my review of “Nip + Fab Facial Cleanser” here. Read on to know whether this serum worked for me or not.

My Experience with Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Serum:
The serum comes in a light blue colour box with the same light blue colour packaging. The serum bottle is around palm-sized and comes in a cylindrical shade. It is super handy and there is no issue with leakage. The bottle is very handy and hence can be carried on travels easily. The bottle has a pump dispenser which dispenses the needed quantity at a time only. The price is a bit expensive but glycolic products are pretty limited so I think that would be fine.
The serum is a clear thick gel and just a pea-sized amount is needed each time since it blends really well on the skin. It is a bit thick and heavy hence I do not use it during during time, I apply it only during bedtime. I massage it on my skin for 2 minutes to let it sink into my skin completely. It does leave a little sticky layer behind which is why I have to wash my hands every time. It does not have a overpowering scent. It has a very light pleasant smell that does not linger around much.
It feels a bit heavy on the skin but that is fine since I apply it during bed-time. It does not irritate the skin at all.
The results are slow but pretty good. It evens out my complexion but with regular use only. Also, it helps in fading away the scars but not completely. This will not work on very stubborn scars. It smoothens out the texture of my skin very well and my skin feels very smooth. It took away the roughness and parched texture of my skin. Coming to the pores, it will not diminish the pores completely. It does make a noticeable difference, but there’s no magic. Overall, it’s a good serum to try, but I do not see any difference between it and other regular serums.

Cons of Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Serum:
- Can cause breakouts on skin some times.
- Not suitable for day-time use because it feels sticky.
- Does not take care of fine lines or pores completely.
- Expensive.
- Limited availability in India.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Serum?
I will not purchase it again since I have used a lot of better serums but yes recommend to those who want better and healthy-looking skin.
