NYX Chloe Extra Creamy Round Lipstick Review

Today I am reviewing a lipstick by NYX from its Round Lipsticks range. I love makeup, and especially lipsticks and kajals. So, let’s start the review!

INR 395 for 4 grams

Claims:
NYX Top Selling nyx round lipsticks:

• Is formulated with mineral oils to moisturize and condition
• Offers long-lasting, smudge-proof color
• Is available in a array of shades.

Ingredients:
Ceresin Wax, Polyethlene Wax, Candelilla wax, Microcrystalline Wax, Beeswax, Lanoline Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Mineral Oils, Octyl Palmitate, BHA, Propyl Paraben, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, D&C Red No.A1 Lake, Pearl Powder, Iron Oxide.

My Experience with NYX Chloe Extra Creamy Round Lipstick:

Packaging:
The lipstick comes in a glossy black plastic case with the brand name, ingredients printed on the cap. There is also a black sticker glued to top of the cap which mentions the lipstick shade and number. Overall the packaging looks very fancy. The lipstick has a see-through block on the bottom which is very useful for us to locate the colour easily. The plastic of the packaging is very cheap and may break if dropped or pressed tightly. Still, the cap shuts tightly, so the lipstick is travel friendly.

Texture:
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy and moisturizing. Since it is creamy in texture, it bleeds and transfers a lot. The one thing I hate about this lipstick is that due to its creaminess, the lipstick needs to be kept in the fridge. I recommend to keep this or any creamy lipstick in the fridge to avoid breakage. It does not settle into the fine lines.

Shade:
It is a beautiful fuchsia pink colour with shimmers in it; the shimmer is barely visible. I personally don’t like lipsticks that have shimmers in it. The shade is very deep, so it’s not an everyday shade, but I can wear it everyday because I love bold lips. 😛 I hate the smell of the lipstick; it’s kind of floral, which is very over powering.

Pigmentation:
The pigmentation of this lipstick is awesome; this is the case with all round lipsticks by NYX. Just one swipe is needed to cover lip pigmentation.

Staying power:
The staying power of the lipstick is very low. It does not stay on my lips for even 3 hours; it starts to fade within two hours. It fades from the middle of the lips first, which looks weird and has to be applied again. It leaves a beautiful lip print on the glasses or mugs. ????
