My Experience with NYX Cream Rouge Blush Tea Rose:

I got introduced to NYX Rouge Cream Blush after I came across IMBB. I was not first sure of purchasing it, but after seeing its swatches at many reviews mentioned here at IMBB and Ankita’s review on the Natural shade really made me go for it. First, I bought ‘Natural’ and “Rose Petal” shade. I loved these two so much that I also bought two other shades:

-Tea Rose.
-Glow.

These shades are so creamy and feel feather like and blend effortlessly. On my face, these blushes impart a natural flush and a dewy look, which I love a lot. I require just a bit of the product. I am not sure if I would ever be able to finish these off. Tea Rose shade is a pretty nude brown shade with slight pinkish tone. This would suit all skin tones. This is more of a everyday wear kind blush. This would also be a great product for day wear.

Pros of Nyx Rouge Cream Blush “Tea Rose”:

  • This is a creamy blush that blends on my cheek effortlessly.
  • It imparts a dewy look.
  • Quantity provided is quite good.
  • Just a bit of it is required for that desired natural flush.
  • This particular shade would be an awesome day wear product.
  • Of all the four shades I have, I love Tea Rose the most.
  • Pigmentation is really good.
  • It is quite buildable.
  • Staying power is really good, stays some 4-5 hours.
  • Several shades are available.
  • Its hypoallergenic and cruelty free.
  • Price is reasonable compared to other cream blushes.
  • If one buys it from Cherryculture or Porkdaisy, then it would cost around Rs. 300 and Rs. 650 in India.

Cons of Nyx Rouge Cream Blush “Tea Rose”:

  • May not suit oily skin people during summer.
  • It contains mineral oil, so many people sensitive to it won’t like it.
  • One should have PayPal or credit card to purchase this from online sites.
  • In India, this blush is available at more than twice the price available at online sites.

Rating:

4.25 out of 5.

Will I Repurchase It?

Yes, I will and I want to try another shade “Golden.”

Below is my pic, where recently, I tried Smokey eye makeup, it’s my first attempt, so there are errors. I would really love to listen all of yours invaluable tips.

  2. nice review, Taps. looking very pretty. you have beautiful eyes 🙂 blush looks very nice on you.
eyemakeup could use some more blending. Rati will be able to give you some nice tips on that.

  3. i lovee this blush! my first nyx product!! looks like a natural blush na!
And yea, your smokey eye look has come out well, but like an earlier suggestion, blending out harsh lines would have made the attempt look even better!
If using shadows and blending is a little tough for you at the start, which is with me as well, here’s what you do..
Just take a creamy choco brown eye pencil and shade your entire lid lightly.
In the socket/crease area, run the pencil 2-3 times to get a darker shade than the lid.
Lastly shade the outer corner “V” a little darker than the crease! Touch the outer V with a little black e/s! You’re done!
Just remember to use a light hand, I remember reading you like sketching, so shading shouldn’t be an issue! 😀
I use this method and trust me, it makes my work look like a pro’s! Hope this helps!

    1. Ohhhhh Wowwwwww thanx a lottt for your advice, :thanks:  I would surely try to learn this ! Ya nyx tea rose blush is really sooo soo natural, more natural than Natural blush it self !

      1. Wow that was a nice tip sukanya! Taps try the NYX jumbo pencil in Brown for the creamy choco shade…but I gotta warn you that stuff smudges and creases a lot

  4. Good review Taps and this Blush is looking sweet on ur cheeks… :puchhi: :puchhi:

But it isn’t my cup of tea! :rotfl: :rotfl:
And I’m afraid I really can’t help you out with the smokey eyes as I haven’t tried it yet. 😐 :shame: :shame:
But I must say…It looks good, considering the fact that it’s your first try. :haanji: I tried it once…I looked like a :panda: . 😆

    1. Thanks a lot dear ! But why not your cup of tea? You like more rosey and peachy blushes??? or no blushes at all? Thanks a lot dear for liking ! :thanks:

      1. Yup.I prefer some more warm and rosey type blushes…then come the corals, peaches and browns. :d 😀
And don’t mention it! :victory2: Compliments are given where they are deserved and you sure do deserve it! 😀

        1. Thank you dear, I also love more peachy kind blushes you know, like colorbar peachy rose, and all then natural ones and then rosey ones !!

  6. The blush is lovely Taps! gives really a natural glow 🙂
for the first time you have done very well dear..I toh have never even attempted it yet….but wanna try soon 🙂 :waytogo:

    1. Thanks a lot dear, yes it gives a natural glow and It matches my skin tone soo much that it feels am blushing in real ! Thanks for liking the makeup ! :thanks:

  7. I can see the glow on your cheek Taps. I’m gonna pick this soon.. :yahoo: :yahoo:
ME not a makeup expert yet. Just I feel that the lid shade could have been a lil lighter and lil more blending would have made it perfect. Otherwise its a good try

    1. Thanks a lot Kaps, yaaa this imparts nice glow, you can try this one and the lid shade is light but my cell couldnt pick it, and yess more blending required, agree ! :thanks:

  8. tea rose is my favorite! yay! 🙂 Taps- since you mentioned you want to try golden, I wanted to let you know my thoughts on that shade. I bought golden for my wedding. It is full of golden shimmer particles. The blush itself imparts no colour on my cheeks (I am about NC43). Get it if you want to try a cream highlighter. For myself, I was quite disappointed with it 🙁

  9. I have this one and absolutely LOVE IT
Though it sometimes when my skin is somewhat oily, it smudges around! But I still love it for the gorgeous colour :preen:

    1. Ohhh all right, i dont face the smudging issue, but thanks for telling ! M e also love it.when i saw it in the pan, i was disappointed, but when I used, I instantly fell in love with it ! :))

    1. Thanks a lot Rati ! You like it !! :yahoo: :yahoo: I used Nyx white grey black trio, from there black one and nyx loose shadow walnut !

        1. yaaaaa right !1 will follow these tips now !!! actually my patience also less, and i also donot realize when i am totally done you see! :thanks:

  10. Taps one thing i wanna ask u..
when u ordered these blushes from Urban touch .. did u get them with the latest Manufacture date??
Actually me thinking of ordereing from there only

  11. Dunno if cream blushes will work for me…but I will try and add this in my long overdue urban touch haul! You have hazel eyes is it? Lovely. I know very little about e/s application, but yours looks perfect!

  12. hi taps… gr8 review n ber nice shade :yahoo: :yahoo: .. i dont prefer such shades but its luking gud on u.. i hav glow frm this range n like it :pompom: :pompom: … n yess.. nice first attempt of ur eye makeup.. :waytogo: :waytogo:
