My Experience with NYX Lid Lingerie Matte A Line:
The eye tint comes in a transparent plastic tube with a black screw on lid. It is similar to the Lip Lingeries from NYX. The shade name is embossed on the tube itself, and has a shade code on a sticker at the bottom of the tube as well.
The applicator is shaped like a doe foot, but the flat side is indented inwards slightly for picking up more product. The shape as such does not serve any purpose when it comes to applying the product directly on the lid.
“A-Line” is described as a medium warm plum color. I would describe it as a terracotta colour, but with some orange tones. For my skin tone, it works great as a transition shade or as an all-over lid colour. It can easily be mistaken to be a liquid lipstick because of its colour. The eye tint is opaque, but not extremely thick; hence it is spreadable.
It cannot be used for any other function such as contour or lipstick as it does not spread easily because it dries fast. The pigmentation allows for a soft diffused look, which can be built upon in layers. I have not tried this for precision eye makeup such as cut crease liners or simple eye liners, but I feel it would work well for those purposes.
I applied this all over my lid using my finger first and then used a blending brush for my crease. I then applied a second layer to enhance the intensity. It dried down very fast, so it must be blended rapidly. It lasted on my lids for a very long time. Overall, this was a satisfactory purchase.
Pros of NYX Lid Lingerie Matte A Line:

- Can be applied using fingers and makeup brush as well.
- Pigmentation can be built in layers.
- Long lasting.
Cons of NYX Lid Lingerie Matte A Line:
- Dries very fast.
- Slightly difficult to remove.
- Has a drying effect on the lids and may enhance already existing creases on the lid.

Would I Repurchase NYX Lid Lingerie Matte A Line?
It is a colour that I would recommend for all skin tones. It is a must-have shade from this range. If you are looking for long-lasting makeup, such as for weddings and parties, then get this. It may feel drying on the lids, but it will definitely last long without the need for touch ups. I will be repurchasing this when this tube gets over, which will take long for sure.
