Those of you who are reading my articles regularly, would very well know my obsession with the hair care brand Organix. Today, yet again I am back with a review from this lovely brand and this time I will be reviewing one of their conditioner i.e. the Organix enriching cucumber yogurt conditioner. Well, we all know the benefits of cucumber and yogurt for our hair, however some of us are really lazy to follow the DIY hair treatments religiously which includes these ingredients. So is this an easy solution or alternative for our traditional yogurt hair mask? Let me start with the detailed review.
Price: Approx 625 INR for 385 ml

My take on Organix Enriching Cucumber Yogurt Conditioner:
The conditioner is packed in the standard doll-shaped mint green colored bottle with golden cap like all the other Organix shampoos and conditioners. The cap bears a small nozzle that is present for extraction of the product, but let me tell you this that it is really painful to extract the conditioner out of the bottle with such a package bottle, as the conditioner is really thick and rich. You have to squeeze hard to remove the conditioner out. This is the same case with all the other conditioner bottles from Organix. A tube packing would be lifesaving!!!
Consistency and smell:The conditioner as I mentioned is thick yet fluffy, smooth and creamy. The smell is perfume like pleasant and not at all over-powering.
Results: I have tried this conditioner often after shampooing and even for deep conditioning; and I can say that this conditioner is not an ideal alternative to the traditional yogurt hair pack. The conditioner spreads beautifully on hair during application. However, it doesn’t help in de-tangling much; so a little hardwork has to be done on this part. Post- wash this conditioner imparts lovely shine and smoothness to hair. It successfully helps in keeping frizz at bay; but just for a day! Next day these effects start fading and shine and smoothness as if vanish by the end of second day, that’s depressing. I have naturally straight hair that is frizz-prone, so I say that this conditioner didn’t help me much.
Pros of Organix Enriching Cucumber Yogurt Conditioner :
• Lovely fragrance
• Rich fluffy consistency.
• Imparts lovely shine to hair
• Sulphate free product
Cons of Organix Enriching Cucumber Yogurt Conditioner :
• Availability can be an issue.
• Doesn’t help much in controlling frizz.
• Results are not long lasting.
• Bulky packing.
• Doesn’t de-tangle hair easily.

Will I recommend or repurchase Organix Enriching Cucumber Yogurt Conditioner ?
No, I may not purchase this particular variant from Organix, but their other conditioners are truly worth trying. I won’t recommend it for fine, straight hair but I will surely suggest this for normal hair types.
Conclusion: Organix enriching cucumber yogurt conditioner, is an average variant from them, which isn’t a pro in de-tangling or smoothing hair but can be a great option for normal hair types.
