This is one amongst the few Purederm face packs I bought online. These Korean masks are hard to resist with ingredients such as mango, yogurt, shea butter, chamomile and the best thing about them is that they all come in “sachets” at really cheap prices. So, one can pick up a bunch of them and try them without regretting later on. This pack that I am reviewing today is the “Mango Yogurt Pack” containing the goodness of collagen, vitamin E, mango extract, and yogurt extract. I got interested in this only because of the mango extract. :silly:
A wash-off type massage mask which contains Mango Extract, Yogurt Extract, Collagen and Vitamin E.
Mango Extract: skin soothing & moisturizing.
Yogurt Extract: skin feels de-stressed and looks soft & perfectly smooth.
How To Use:
Thoroughly cleanse and dry face. Open the pouch and apply mask to face and massage evenly (expect for eye and mouth area). After 5-10 minutes, rinse with warm water.
Rs. 49 for 10 ml.
My Take on Purederm Mango Yogurt Pack:
First of all, although this is just a 10 ml pack, I could use it for up to 3 to 4 times. I really don’t have a large face, so I really need a little bit to cover my face and neck. A lot of the details at the back of the pack is written in Korean language, but there is a bit explained in English too. The pack does not smell either of mangoes or of curd, it smells mildly of “surgical spirit.” :doctor: The pack is creamy in texture and would not dry off after a period of time. I just massaged it in for 5 minutes and it was very creamy on the face. Actually, my face was feeling a bit sweaty. After 15 minutes, I washed it away and could not really see any difference. In fact, I felt that it had kind of left my face a bit oily. I don’t think this would be good for girls with oily skin. Dry skin junta can give it a try, but the fact is that there is nothing that the pack adds on to the face, neither brightening wise nor tightening wise. I have used up the entire sachet and there is really nothing to post home about 😉
Overall, not really worth anything, this is a complete “no show.”
Pros of Purederm Mango Yogurt Pack:
- “Claims to” contain the goodness of mango extract, yogurt extract, and collagen.
- Comes in a 10 ml sachet, so you won’t have to spend big bucks even if you want to experiment.
Cons of Purederm Mango Yogurt Pack:
- Does nothing for the face, neither brightening nor tightening.
- I think it smells of surgical spirit, I think my hospital stay is acting on my senses :doctor:
- I can “trash” this off, but some of you may want to try this and see if it works for you.
