In my last Oriflame order, I ordered various skin care products as I absolutely adore the skin care stuffs from Oriflame beauty and Oriflame naturals. During my trip to home in Diwali, I gave my essence XXXL lipgloss to my sister as she went completely gaga :silly: over it. I was then left with just two lipglosses after that – Maxfactor lipfinity 2 in one and Neutrogena Lip gloss. As a matter of fact, I’ve discontinued using both of them because of them being cruelty brands :-((, and now planning to give them too to my sister!! :-P. My motive of writing this entire story was that I was left with no lip gloss, and wanted one eagerly.
So, I ordered the one lip gloss I found good on Oriflame website – which was quite affordable and looked nice too. Since, I made the order in hurry, I did not read the complete description about the product.
My first reaction to receiving the product was somewhat mixed 😯 :-/ :-/ , as I’d ordered for Oriflame beauty Maxi lip gloss – Pink , but from the first look at the bottle it appeared to be somewhat nudish peach in color. I had thought that the “Maxi” title was attributed to the product because it might be designed to give maximum shine or coverage whatever, but the truth was a bit different. I swatched the product, it came out quite light peach on my hand.

Still, going further – I applied it on my lips. What followed next was completely unexpected and somewhat shocking 😯 to me. I began to feel some tingling sensation on my lips, and could feel some swelling coming up. I began to panic, thinking that the lipstick is reacting to my lips and my money is definitely going to the drain for this product. But, slowly the tingling reduced; my lips became more plumped up and naturally pink :-* in color :-). I was really intrigued by the way it worked on my lips and decided to do some research over it. So, after this whole Ramayana – lemme get to the review of the product 😛
What Oriflame says about Oriflame Maxi Lip gloss?

What exactly does lip plumping technology mean?
As per wikipedia: Lip plumping technology refers to the typical cosmetics product that is used to make lips appear fuller. In appearance, it ranges from translucent to opaque and tinted. A lip plumper can be formulated to be worn alone as a lip gloss. Sheerer versions can be applied under lipstick.

:yes: The gloss application is quite easy, with the wand applicator.
:yes: It gives quite a subtle pink color to my lips, which makes it very wearable. You can even top it up on a matte lipstick to get the fuller lips. It does hold its “maxi” title to give the maximum plump to your lips!!
:yes: Comes dirt cheap!! 😀
:yes: Has good staying power. It says for atleast 1-2 hours on me after application, along with its results!! 🙂
What I didn’t like about the Oriflame beauty Maxi lip gloss ?
:no: Nothing, apart from the fact that one needs to find an oriflame consultant to get their hands on this!
A must try thing. I am quite amazed by this lip plumping innovation, hence might want to try my hands on other brands. As of now, I am quite happy and satisfied with this product!! 🙂

There are only two shades in this gloss. One is this pink one and the other one is pearly nude. It doesn’t exactly make any much difference, coz the moment you apply the gloss, it becomes transparent on your lips. And what comes on your lips are your lips’ natural colors. In the pics above, the color is of my lips only, and not of the gloss. That is how this gloss works!! 🙂 🙂

I was really irritated with my office work :(( and wanted to spend some time alone, with someone pampering me 😀 !! 😛 (Now dont get ideas 😛 ).
