My Experience with Original Source Extreme Tingle XXX Mint Hair and Body Wash:
Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. This shower gel comes in a translucent bright green colored plastic bottle. The bottle has a typical flip cap that makes it absolutely leak proof. This packaging has an inverted shape and that way it is very easy to store, but then it’s bulky to carry around on travels.
This hair and body wash is green in color. The texture is thick but slightly on the runny side. It has a gel-like texture. It has a very refreshing mint fragrance that instantly revives the senses. I usually prefer sweet-smelling, fruity kind of fragrances in my shower gels, but currently, I am enjoying this one a lot. With peppermint extracts in it, this shower wash gives intense cooling sensation to the scalp and body and this feature makes it so apt for summers. That automatically means it would give you the chills in winters, but then, I am currently staying in a very humid place and I am really enjoying in such a climate.
This is a dual-purpose product that can be used on hair as well as body. Though I keep my hair and body products separate, just to this hair and body wash’s effects, I tried it on my hair too. The formula lathers extremely well. It deeply cleanses my skin, removing every bit of oil and grime from my skin. It feels extremely gentle on my skin. It nicely cleanses the skin without snatching its moisture. My skin stays soft and hydrated after using this product. It washes off nicely with a few splashes of water and does not leave any film or slippery feel behind. So, I just love it as a body wash.
Now, let’s see how it worked as a hair wash. I washed my heavily oiled hair with this product and I was pretty impressed to see that it removed every bit of oil from my hair nicely without making my hair dry. It lathers pretty well and cleanses my hair and scalp deeply. Though, my hair looks bouncy and manageable post washing, it does not add lustre or softness to my hair. So, I need a conditioner or hair serum to make my hair look soft, smooth and shiny. My hair stays tangle free even without any conditioner, but I always use a conditioner just to add a little life to my hair. I have already mentioned that it is very easy to rinse off and does not leave any residue behind.
Overall, this is a decent product and the cooling sensation that this body wash imparts refreshes you up in hot weather.
