I had read good reviews about Ouai hair products and wanted to try stuff from them, so I went ahead and picked up the smooth shampoo for my damaged hair. Read on further to know whether this shampoo is worth the hype or not.

My Experience with Ouai Smooth Shampoo:
Ouai shampoo comes housed in a white bottle with a push-in dispense system. As I have already mentioned above, I have fine and damaged hair, and I was looking for a shampoo that reduces damage without taking away volume, and Ouai shampoo does all of it.
I have been using this shampoo for the last 15 to 20 days and I am seeing great results. The shampoo has a thick, translucent consistency. The thing I hate about this shampoo is that it doesn’t lather well because of which I end up using more amount compared to when I am using a regular shampoo. But it does work for my hair, it leaves my hair smooth, easy to work with, and my hair ends look less damaged.
After using it for the past 15 to 20 days, and I can say that this is by far the best shampoo that I have used on my hair. This also gives shine to my dull-looking hair and makes them soft, smooth and voluminous, which I love. In the past, I have used shampoos from brands such as Percy and Reed, Label M, Rene Furterer, Aveda, Tigi, etc., and none of them did anything for my hair.
One more plus point of using Ouai is that it smells delicious and your hair will smell delicious throughout the day. It doesn’t have a strong smell that people might hate as it’s a mild and clean scent which won’t be overpowering. Overall, this is a perfect shampoo for people with dry, damaged hair.
