Outfit of the Day: Pink Sari
Hey everyone!
A few weeks ago, I went to a family friend’s wedding! I completely forgot to post these up on IMBB, until recently when I was looking through my albums and realized. Anyways, here in Los Angeles, we do not have as much weddings like as we would have in India or other States in US but when we do, I love to dress up and enjoy to the fullest. It was located at the most beautiful location, up on a hill overlooking the entire city with a beautiful and scenic waterfall. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the actual venue…I guess I was too busy clicking pics of myself. 😀
I wore a light pink sari which was part of my weddings gifts given to me by my mom. From the looks of it, it seems the sari is really heavy but in reality is very light weight. The sari contains tiny silver colored sequins all over the sari and has thick silver and yellow beaded work on the border. Finding matching jewelry was the hardest part of putting together this outfit. That’s because the work included both silver and gold and finding a mixture or even something similar was difficult but eventually I settled for long amber colored earrings which fortunately matched closely. Aside from that I have on pink and grey bangles which go perfectly with my sari. I am also carrying a light pink-beige color clutch which has beaded work on it.
I have a full face of makeup and my eyeshadow consists of various pink shades. The foundation I am wearing is MakeupForever.
This is a picture of me and my two little sisters and my mom. (I always get questions about my sisters natural red-brown hair color lol, they received that color from my Dad, unfortunately I did not !!!)

Shania, with that hair and face, you don’t actually need any more accessories, trust me! I am sure you get so many compliments on your hair as such long beautiful hair is really a rare sight in the US. You do get compliments, don’ t you. You look so pretty and the sari is very classy. *powder*
