A biggggggggggg hello to all of you!! 😀
Here I am, back after a break of almost 2 months!! *jumping in excitement*And this comeback makes me feel simply too good!! *yayy*Had it been just me, I would have still stretched this vacation a little further. 😉 But some overly sweet messages in my inbox had me getting back to work without any more delays. Thank you so much Ankita, Beenu, Soniya, Puja, Rima Rana, Rima Singh, Shreya, Sheetal… and so many more! You guys are definitely more than sweet! :*
Why was I away? Oh! Do not ask! It’s just that the later part of the year is always too hectic for me. There are too many events – birthdays, et al; in addition to all the festivals and if you’d know me, you’d also know how much I love celebrating each of them. Plus, I get so tired with everything as I reach towards the end of the year, that all I want to do is sit back – sleep, eat and party! 😛 If you’d remember, I had taken a long break from blogging at the same time last year too. See what I mean? 😉
Anyhoo! Trust me when I say this, I missed every bit of IMBB and blogging and you! This place makes me too happy. I can just come here every day, pen down all my gup-shup and in return read all your tidbits, and giggle and be surprised and smile reading your comments.
Coming to the OOTD! The outfit you are seeing today is something I wore to my friend’s wedding. Doing Indian-outfit shoots becomes a little challenging, and therefore, I had never thought I would be able to show you this one. But when these pictures arrived, I was more than ecstatic and couldn’t wait to show them to you; and the fact that they are totally raw pictures didn’t deter me! 😀
This lehenga was a last minute decision and when I finalized how I wanted it to be, I was too excited. After I wore it though, I didn’t feel it had turned out completely as I wanted it to be. But oh well! The skirt is a orange-to-pink shaded fabric. I put an orange lining beneath it for the orange color to stand out more. In contrast, I chose a pink dupatta. I added a little more color via the blue border. Golden detailing (taking me into consideration) was but necessary.
The jewelry was in golden-tones too. Sadly, you can’t see it, but I wore a pair of pazeb also. 😀
Blouse: Meena Bazaar (Ready)
Fabric for Skirt and Dupatta: Sourced from random stores in Lajpat Nagar (Stitched at a local boutique)
Hope you all like!
Sorry for longgggg post. I had too much to say! 😛
Here’s hoping I am more regular henceforth!! Bye-bye for now.
You take good care! *flying kiss*
