Outfit of the Day: Casual T-Shirt with a Pair Of Capries
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all keeping well, and with the advent of winter, the weather is becoming soothing day by day. The rest of the country must have by now experiencing the chill winds, with all your warmers ready to be worn. But here in Pondicherry, we experience eternal summers, but somehow, the weather is becoming softer these days, with a slight fall in the temperature. A few days back, me and my husband went out on a short trip to the Pichavaram mangrove forest, around 50- 60 kms from Pondicherry. To our surprise, it turned out to be such a beautiful place and we never knew any other mangrove forest other than the Sunderbans existed in India. In fact, Pichavaram is the second largest mangrove forest in Asia!! It was completely a boat ride on the backwaters of the Bay of Bengal. So, I thought of sharing some pictures as an OOTD post. ย Hope you like it.
We reached the place and hired a small boat, as you can enter the forest only in a boat and boy, what a bumpy ride it was in the ocean!! I was scared to death as I didnโt know to swim ๐ But after sometime, as we were about to enter the forest region, the ride became smoother. With the sun shining bright, it was such a picturesque location.
Since it was a boat ride inside the forest, I thought of keeping it simple. I wore a bright red colored top and a pair of capries. The weather here demands comfortable cloths. I also wore a watch and simple gold studs, but forgot to add any bangles or charms as I am not much used to those. ย Instead of heels, I preferred wearing slippers (cheap ones) which I brought from Bangalore.
Sunglasses are a must when moving out in the sun and while in Pondy, you cannot forget that. It did a great job in relieving my eyes in the hot sun. Hot sun and equal amount of breeze at the same time!!
The trip was such an amazing one; I cannot express it in words right now.
The enchanting feeling I was experiencing at that time, it was just out of the world. The silent atmosphere, the sound of the stroke of the oars, the buzzing of the bugs, it was mesmerizing. I hope you get some feel from the pictures ๐
After about two hours of continuous boat ride, we came out of the forest. We also experienced a slight drizzle and we loved it, was an unforgettable journey. Hope you all like the picturesโบ
