Parachute Advansed Coconut Creme Oil Review

Product Purchased by IMBB

Heya girls,

Happy Sunday! In this post, I am reviewing a super convenient product for us busy girls. We all swear by the traditional “champi” for lustrous locks, but office deadlines, household chores and college assignments leave us with very little time to pamper our locks. Hence manufacturers came up with easier cream products that are easy to apply and wash off, sans the stickiness. The concept isn’t first brought to the market by Parachute, L’Oreal and Garnier have their own versions of oil replacement products. Parachute banked on the ‘coconut oil’ fame and decided to foray into the market. Let’s see if it’s useful.

My Experience with Parachute Advansed Coconut Creme Oil:

The packaging is good, with a cute white and golden bottle. The pump dispenser is a great addition, however, that compromises on the ‘travel safe’ aspect. Product details are written neatly on the bottle. The 120 ml bottle is lightweight and looks pretty. The pump works perfectly fine and dispenses right amount of product, depending on how much you press the pump.

The texture is lightweight, creamy, but not heavy or oily. It has a mild scent, not very strong or overpowering, but does linger for some time. Even after applying quite a good amount, it leaves no trace on my hands- I am super impressed.

I use it in two ways. On Sundays, I apply a generous amount on my hair, leave it on for 30-40 minutes and rinse off with Rusk Sensories Calming Shampoo. It washes off in just a wash, no need to wash your hair multiple times to get the squeaky clean feeling. On other days, I just use a tiny amount to smoothen out any flyaways or frizziness.

It does make hair softer and smoother. If you apply a large amount and don’t shampoo, you will definitely have limp hair (that’s obvious, isn’t it?). However, after shampooing, you can easily comb your hair, without any additional conditioning products. I like how it makes my hair manageable and frizz free. On my hair, it doesn’t add much of a shine, something I would have liked, but yes, the softness definitely is a big achievement. My hair texture looks better and I see less breakage. The effect lasts 2-3 days after shampooing. Overall, I find myself reaching for it as I don’t have time to oil my hair so much. This is a perfect recipe to use before shampooing even on the busiest of weekdays.
