These anti-aging pads have really good reviews online and when I found them on a Christmas deal, I grabbed them without a second thought. The packaging looked high-end and the ingredient list looked benign and beneficial to skin. These cotton pads come in a plastic, round box with a screw on lid. The 15 pads come pre-saturated and the 60-count come with the solution in a separate bottle which need to be poured over the pads, I am actually not sure about the purpose of this kind of packaging. The cotton pads are made of cotton, they are soft and are not textured. One pad is saturated enough to cover face and neck with the solution.
These pads are infused with the power of pure retinol which combines with a natural retinol-like complex powered by alfalfa extract and nourishing superfood oils for an efficacious formula designed to comfort the skin. The product description says that the retinol technology helps strengthen skin’s natural renewal processes, while superfood oils including pomegranate, olive, argan, and Amazonian sacha inchi oils help counteract the typical irritation and dryness of retinol. I was expecting that these pads would help smoothen my skin and reduce the appearance of pores on the apples of my cheeks. Right now, the pores are not apparent and can be only seen in a magnifying mirror or upon application of blush or highlighter, but I am taking all the skin care measures to prevent increase in pore size or other signs of ageing.
