I am back with a review of one of the cutest blushes ever.
I think by now you guys must know that I am absolutely in love with Physicians Formula products. One of the main reasons being that I have sensitive skin. My skin is not that prone to acne (touch wood :-P), although I do have breakouts once a while, but I have had eczema and that too on my face for about the past 7 years. It has been frustrating and I generally try to stay away from products that can trigger that eczema. So, I went on a search to find some hypoallergenic and organic sort of products and that brought me to the brand “Physicians Formula.” Although it is a drugstore brand, but still they have amazing products in terms of pigmentation and quality. As you can see, this is a Physicians Formula blush review.
This blush is my favourite in terms of the structure of it. Can you see how cute it is. So many pretty little hearts in different colours, its just lovely!
Ultra-soft and blendable blushing powder features a fresh and vibrant mix of blushing tones infused with a pop of color to create a healthy glow. Multi-reflective pearls provide a soft iridescence to highlight contour and add radiance to cheeks. Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress. The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply.
The shade that I have is “Rose.” When I bought this, it was available in two colours – Natural and Rose. I thought that “Natural” would not show up much on Indian skin, so I went for “Rose.” The colour is a pretty pink and you can adjust the intensity of that pink by mixing the different colours of it. This blush claims to boost your mood too by protecting from environmental stress. I don’t know about that, but everytime I look at those cute little hearts, I feel so good. Its just amazing!
The packaging is a little pink case with a clear top, so that all the hearts are visible. It closes firmly as the cap is not flimsy. It comes with an attached little mirror and a weird brush that I still find hard to use. But the brush can definitely be used for contouring, but the brush is so cute and colourful.
The pigmentation of the blush is amazing. Its not like one of those blushes that you have to keep applying to get the perfect look. One can vary the intensity with this one as per choice. A little swirl over the blush is pretty much enough to give one a healthy glowy look and there are absolutely no fall outs at all. It is so tightly bound together. So, this pan is going to go a long way.
The product does have tiny little shimmer particles, but it does not shine that way. The shimmer does provide everyone a glowy kind of a look. I don’t know what more to say, I just love this blush and its packaging.
It can be a little pricey for a drugstore brand, but it is definitely worth it. The staying power of the blush is average, lasts around 2 to 3 hours after which one has to reapply.
The ones swatched horizontally are the different colours and the one swatched vertically is the colour by mixing all the colours together.
Let’s sum up the review:

- Shades have everyday to intense colours.

Cons of Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Blush – Rose:

Would I Repurchase Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Blush – Rose?
I don’t know. I have started building my collection, so I guess I may buy it in some other colour.
Here are some pictures of it on the cheeks because I think hand swatches don’t really give a pretty good idea about products.
Applied lightly first and then a bit more for the second picture and this just makes me see the unbleached facial hair, would bleach them near my birthday now, yay!
