Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush Rose de Jaspe Review, Swatch
By now, All my friends are well aware of my recent fascination for make up & cosmetics. So, my good friend from Ireland sent me this BOURJOIS BLUSH on my birthday along with other goodies.
WHAT THE COMPANY CLAIMS ABOUT THE BLUSH
Ultra fine and easy to blend powder blush. Our timeless blusher has been around for almost 150 years and has made Bourjois famous worldwide thanks to its amazing texture and packaging.
The baked texture transforms when applied to the skin into an ultra-fine pressed powder, which is easy to apply and blends impeccably. One stroke of the brush reveals the irresistible aroma of the rose scented powder.
Its built-in mirror and brush is perfect for touch-ups on the go!
For a natural result, smile and apply the blush on your cheekbones with circular movements. Then stretch up to the temples.
If you applied to much, don’t worry; just apply a coat of powder on top of it!
I googled and found out about this blush…
This blush is a part of Bourjois Limited edition range dedicated to Parisian heritage. Celebrating it’s Parisian heritage, Bourjois has teamed up with young Parisian artist, Juliette Buré to create a new collector’s range of decorated Blush pots based on Parisian monuments. The collection perfectly captures Bourjois’ Parisian heritage via a ‘stylish and trendy’ journey through the city !On the lids of the round pots are the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bastille, the Opéra Garnier and the Sacré Coeur. Each monument has its own district, each one has a different approach to fashion and beauty, and each style is associated a different blusher. Fashion addicts can imagine an afternoon shopping spree in Paris with each pot of blush!
Sold individually, these six blushers are an irresistible and like their predecessors, they have an easy to blend formula with an applicator and mirror!
PRICE, 14 Euro or around Rs. 950 but I am not sure whether this range is available in India. Rati will be more updated on this front.
The shade that I have from this collection is “ROSE DE JASPE” .
It’s a beautiful warm rose color with shimmer in it. ROSE DE JASPE, gives a pretty natural pink flush. The effect is soft and it’s easy to control the pigmentation. Like with most Bourjois products the packaging is cute and compact. It’s faintly scented and comes with a mini curved brush.
What I like about this blush
- Gives a beautiful yet subtle pink flush
- The shimmer is very fine nothing really over the top.
- Very apt for your formal/party make ups as it gives a nice glow to your cheeks (has shimmer)
- Has a mild rose like fragrance.
- Includes a brush applicator & mirror
- The texture of the blush is extremely smooth & of very fine quality
- The packaging is extremely compact; I have not come across a blush in such a tiny, cute packaging.
What I did not like about this blush
- The package has absolute no mention of its ingredients list
- Has shimmer so I have to restrict it to my party make ups
- I need to swipe the blush at least 3-4 times for some decent colour.
Will I buy it again?
I wish I could but for that I will have to travel to UK 😛
IMBB rating : :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* 5/5 since it’s a gift 😀
