Schwarzkopf Gliss Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo
I don’t usually worry much about my hair and invest much on them because I have been inherited with super straight and healthy hair from my mom. just oiling and shampooing with regular brands like garnier or loreal works for me well 😀
This shampoo was actually bought by my father who goes for his business trip to Nepal and brings bulks of shampoos, conditioners and moisturisers from some wholesale market there. Though I was not really attracted to from the first look because I have super oily scalp and the bottle reads Marrakesh OIL! But still I decided to give it a try as I read somewhere about the benefits of Marrakesh oil.
Marrakesh oil or argan oil or Moroccan oil as it is sometimes called — is gaining attention in the haircare industry for its ability to soften unruly hair while offering protection from the elements.High in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it is believed to help all sorts of skin conditions: dry skin, acne, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles. Moroccans slather it on their skin, hair, nails and even their babies. They eat it, too — drizzling it over salads and couscous.
PRICE: Rs.425 for 400ml (though I got it for somewhere between 300-350)
CLAIMS: for more shine and suppleness, deep care without weighing down, repair-innovation with liquid keratin, repairs hair damages precisely and fills hair fissures. With Marrakesh oil and coconut, for normal to stressed hair
My take on Schwarzkopf Gliss Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo:
To begin with, I was not really expecting good result for my oily hair, but it did surprise me! I wont say exceptional results but yes it does cleanse my hair really well and imparts shine. Though next day I needed to shampoo again because it doesn’t controls oil on scalp for more than a day, but I wont complain regarding that as it says normal to stressed hair and moreover I actually do wash my hair almost everyday! It comes in a flip open cap with brown plastic bottle. Very mild fragrance which doesn’t last for more than 15-20 minutes post washing. All in all a normal regular usage cleansing shampoo, nothing extraordinary!
Pros of Schwarzkopf Gliss Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo:
• Smoothens and provides shine to hair (if you’re planning to skip conditioner, it does provides conditioning properties)
• Mild fragrance
• Less amount needed
Cons of Schwarzkopf Gliss Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo:
• Expensive (because it has properties which any good INR 150-200 shampoo will provide)
• Not so attractive packaging
• People with oily scalp will find it too moisturising for their scalp
Will I buy Schwarzkopf Gliss Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo?
No, I did’nt find anything extraordinary! moreover when it comes to hair products I change brands every few months.
Will I recommend Schwarzkopf Gliss Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo?
Yes! You can give a try if you have normal to slightly oily scalp.
