Sebastian Professional Hydre Moisturizing Conditioner Review

A big hello to everyone,

This review is about Sebastian Professional Hydre Conditioner. I have been using the Sebastian Professional Hydre Shampoo and Conditioner together.

Sebastian Professional Hydre Moisturizing Conditioner Review

Product Description:
Hydre Conditioner as per the brand claims is an intense, nourishing formula that rehydrates dry, frizzy and chemically treated hair. It’s also color safe.
Price:
INR 1900/- for 250 ml.

How To Use:
After shampooing, apply on the hair strands concentrating on the ends, and make sure to avoid the roots and scalp. Conditioner should always be applied after removing the excess water, else the water dilutes the product.

My Experience with Sebastian Professional Hydre Moisturizing Conditioner:

The product comes in a beautiful white bottle, exactly similar to the shampoo. The only difference being that the shampoo bottle is black. The cap has a flip top, which is extremely risky to carry around when you are travelling. You will not be able to know how much of the product is left as it’s an opaque bottle.

The Hydre Conditioner is white in color and has a very thick consistency, which works well for me. It spreads well on the hair. There is a mild fragrance, which I like it.

I started using this product with the shampoo after my hair had almost turned into a jhaddu :p This was due to not taking care of my hair after coloring and the extreme sunny weather of UAE. This conditioner was advised to me by my hairdresser in India. I apply it after the shampoo and spread it on with a thin comb. I leave it on for almost 10 minutes. Post that, I rinse well with cold water. This conditioner has a rich and thick consistency which spreads well on the hair.

My hair did not feel heavy or flat after usage, rather they were soft and shiny. With continuous usage, my hair has started feeling softer, hydrated, and healthier. Eventually, the frizz also reduced noticeably.

Both shampoo and conditioner have incredibly impressed me. This is my second bottle of conditioner.

The best part is that you don’t need a lot of product to get the results. I have been incorrectly advised by people to use more conditioner than shampoo, but with this conditioner, you don’t need to add too much on your hair; just a little goes a long way.

Pros of Sebastian Professional Hydre Moisturizing Conditioner:

  • Provides moisture to hair and eliminates dryness.
  • Reduces and controls frizzy hair.
  • Only a little product is required.
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Color safe.

Cons of Sebastian Professional Hydre Moisturizing Conditioner:

  • Expensive.
  • Availability could be an issue, as this is available only in a few selected salons.
  • Not travel friendly, the bottle is heavy.

IMBB Rating:
5/5
I would surely recommend this to people with dry and frizzy hair. Give it a try, you will not regret. It worked amazingly well for my jhaddu 😀
