This review is about Sebastian Professional Hydre Shampoo, and I purchased this along with its conditioner and serum, which I would be reviewing soon.
Sebastian is a professional hair care brand and the hydre shampoo as per the brand is an intense, nourishing formula that rehydrates dry, frizzy and chemically-treated hair.
INR 1500/- for 250 ml.
How To Use:
Does anyone really need to know this :p. However, I will share how I prefer to wash my hair – I mix the shampoo with water (3 -4 teaspoons) in a bowl and apply the same on wet hair. This was advised to me by my hairdresser and since then I have been following this practice. This avoids the thick shampoos to stick to our scalp and so the shampoo can be easily washed off with water.
My Experience with Sebastian Professional Hydre Moisturizing Shampoo:
The product comes in a beautiful, s*xy black bottle. The cap has a flip top, which is extremely risky while travelling. You will not be able to know how much of the product is left as it’s an opaque bottle.
The hydre shampoo is white in color and has a thick consistency, which works well for me, because if the shampoo is runny, I usually end up taking more in hands and more than that on the floor.
Fragrance is good and not very overpowering.
We all have bad hair days where our hair is just not in the mood or maybe it’s just there way of saying “I am currently not speaking to you,” but I had a SEASON of bad hair, nothing was working and then I finally went to my hairdresser in India (he is a magician). He advised me this shampoo with two other products, which I would be reviewing soon. Nothing changed overnight but I started noticing changes. My hair went from extremely dry, frizzy, dull to beautiful, thick, moisturized tresses.
My hair fall had gone from bad to worst and I started stressing out which led to even more hair fall. The entire day my hair felt dry and frizzy. Split ends kept on increasing. Finally, after using the shampoo / conditioner / serum from Sebastian professional and Wella Balance Energy Serum, I started witnessing gradual improvement in my hair condition.
So yes, the shampoo worked wonders for my damaged hair. This is my second bottle of shampoo and I am going stick to this one unless I find something as good as this. The product is thicker compared to other shampoos so not a lot of it is required. I tried it on oily hair too and it I needed only one wash to get rid of the oil.
