I went to a nearby Sephora, just to have a look at the new launches from Marc Jacobs and UD, but then my eyes fell on all the minis and travel sized products and also on a lot of discounted products. All was fine, but soon hell broke loose because I had made a blunder by taking my daughter there and she wanted to swatch all the lipstick and liners and face powders and blushes – literally everything in that store. She is really becoming too attracted towards beauty products at this age and I take the blame. So, she made a deal with me that “when she grows up she will come to this store and pick one piece of every single product.” 😀 Daddy, are you listening? You’re going to have tough days ahead. Lol.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Universal Pink Ornament Lip Gloss:

I don’t have too many lip glosses in my stash as I have somewhat pigmented lips; so, lesser color doesn’t give them any coverage. The first ever gloss I had used was from Avon and during my college days I had used it quite extensively. I spotted this on the display with a tester and loved the texture and color of it. The price was pretty affordable so I just popped it into my shopping bag along with a few face mask and nail care products.

This is the cutest lip gloss packaging I have ever come across. The gloss comes in a golden disco ball kind of a container. It has a black ribbon on top of the container so that you can even hang it.

The lip gloss is the consistency of a balm-gloss which goes from creamy to shiny. There are fine shimmer particles that are almost invisible and can only be seen in direct sunlight. The color is a flattering pink, but on my lips it doesn’t show as much. I am sure those who have non pigmented lips will love it for lazy days. But, it’s very hydrating. Overall, I am very happy with the buy and my daughter seems to reach out for it more than me.
