I am sure all of you are well up to date with the trending “matte lipsticks” rage that is on at the moment. Matte lipsticks are highly pigmented, long lasting and obviously have a matte finish. After an era of glossy lips, this new trend has made its way and looks like it’s here to stay. So today, I will be talking about the Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth Lip Cream in the shade Party Pink. Love it or hate it? Read on.
Matte Me is a matte finish liquid lipstick that glides on in one smooth application, with no need for a second coat. Party Pink is a sensational coral hue, that can be paired with Blush by 3 in Pumpkin for a party perfect look.

My Experience with Sleek MakeUp Party Pink Matte Me Ultra Smooth Lip Cream:
Sleek Matte Me comes in a see-through tube with a matte black cap. The applicator wand is similar to that of any other gloss or liquid lipstick. Packaging is nice, nothing over the top. The shade I have is Party Pink, but don’t let the name fool you. It’s not a pink or anywhere close, it’s a neon coral-orange shade. When I applied it for the first time, I got pretty good coverage in just one swipe, and from there on I had be careful not to overdo it as a little goes a long way with this one.
The applicator wand is nice and helpful in shaping the lips as liquid lipsticks take a lot of time when it comes to filling the lips properly. I had it on on two major occasions, one being Diwali day when you are busy the whole day and have no time for touch-ups and other being a night out party event, where again you are too busy enjoying. And mind you, both the times I was highly impressed the way it stayed on all day/night long (6-7 hours).
It survived through meals, did not transfer or smudge, didn’t fade and came out pretty good in pictures too. But I have naturally dry lips, so I made sure to apply a lip balm before putting this lipstick on. It didn’t dry out my lips or made it worse in any way. A lot of matte lipsticks can be very dehydrating and flaky as you leave them on , but this one didn’t flake or crack in any way. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean it’s hydrating either.
It just won’t dry out as much as other matte liquid lipsticks out there. I had to use a makeup remover to get it off completely and later even went in with a lip exfoliator to get the lipstick thoroughly out. I save it for occasions where I will be out for long and will remain busy as I can trust this one won’t fade away.
Pros of Sleek MakeUp Party Pink Matte Me Ultra Smooth Lip Cream:
• Priced wisely unlike other matte liquid lipsticks
• Super long lasting, non transfer, non smudge and doesn’t crack
• Doesn’t dry out my lips
• Doesn’t flake
• Applicator helps in shaping the lips
• Gives good coverage in just one swipe
Cons of Sleek MakeUp Party Pink Matte Me Ultra Smooth Lip Cream:
• Can feel drying if used without a lip balm
• The neon shades make teeth look a bit yellowish
• Doesn’t come off easily
