WHAT IT IS
A double-ended concealer tool designed to blend and smooth to perfection.
WHAT IT DOES
Concealing blemishes has never been easier! This double-ended tool is specifically designed for use with concealer. It features a sponge tip at one end and a buffing brush on the other to blend concealer and create a flawless complexion.
How to Use:
Use the custom-designed sponge applicator to dab concealer onto face where coverage is needed. Then, flip the tool and use the brush head to smooth and blend for a flawless finish.
My Experience with Tarte Double-Ended Camouflage Brush:
The tool comes in a cardboard box which is transparent at the front so the tool is visible. The tool has wooden finish in the middle and is golden on both the ends. On one side, there is a sponge, and on the other side, there is a buffing brush. The name of the brand (Tarte) is embossed on the tool. Initially, I was very sceptical about the tool, but when I used the tool, I was amazed by the finish it gave.
This is one of the most amazing concealer brushes I have ever tried. Both – the sponge and brush – are made of good quality. They feel so soft on the skin during application. The sponge side can be detached from the tool. This makes it easy for storage and even during cleaning. The brand suggests to use it with their ‘Aquacealer Concealer‘. After cleaning there was no change in the shape of the bristles of the brush or the sponge. The product retains its shape even after washing it.
The sponge is brown-black in colour, and like all sponges, takes some of the concealer due to which there is a little wastage of our products. The sponge applies the concealer like magic. It blends the concealer so well on the skin. I just loved it. After applying the concealer with the sponge switch on to the buffing brush. The bristles of the brush are ombre (gradient), having white at the top, black in between, and off-white at the bottom.
The brush also does its job well. It gives such a flawless finish. I tried applying a cream concealer on one side and liquid concealer on the other side of my face, and to my surprise, it worked well on both the sides and gave me a nice look. Now, though the tool is specifically made for concealing, I even tried it for foundation application as well as cream contouring and, oh my God, I was so impressed with the results.
I also tried the brush end for applying setting powder as well and it easily applied it and was picking the right amount of product. You can also use the brush side to apply your pressed powder. Overall, this tool is definitely a hit for me.
