So, I recently got some stuffs from Tarte and today I am going to review their lip architect lipstick and liner in the shade “Daisy”. There are totally six shades in this range. Basically it’s a tow in one product, read on to know more about this product.

Product Description:

My Experience with Tarte the Lip Architect Lipstick and Liner Daisy:
What I love about this brand is the their packaging is always super cute and chic. The product comes in a cardboard box on which ingredient of both lipstick and the liner is mentioned. Now, the actual packaging of the product is of mirror gold effect. The shade and product name is mentioned on it.
It’s a dual-ended product having lipstick on one side and liner on the other side, therefore the liner side is a bit thinner compared to the lipstick side. On both the caps, lip marks of that particular shade are printed which is super cute. When you open the cap, on twisting the product comes out. The shade is also mentioned on the cardboard case with background of the particular shade which makes it easy to know the colour.
This one is a peachy nude colour which will look pale on medium to dusky skin toned beauties. Only fair skin toned beauties will pull this colour off nicely. The liner and lipstick both glides on the lips smoothly. And, though the brand says it to be semi-matte finish, I found the lipstick having more of a satin finish.
Within 1 hour of application, the product starts to sit in the lip lines and make them prominently visible. This shade looks patchy and pale on my medium-fair skin. I am very disappointed with this product. The lipstick and the liner does not survive meal and reapplication is needed within 2-3 hours. For such a price, we only get 0.1 g of liner and 0.4 g of lipstick which is disappointing again. The size of lipstick is just a bit more than a liner and it’s like you can even use the lipstick to line the lips it doesn’t make a great difference.

- Sleek and cute packaging.
- Twist-up cap is made of good quality so travel-friendy.
Cons of Tarte the Lip Architect Lipstick and Liner Daisy:
- Patchy.
- Sits in lip lines.
- Poor staying power.( lasts for only like 1-2 hours and then reapplication is needed)
- Does not survive meal.
- Transfers.
- Expensive.
- Very less quantity provided.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Tarte the Lip Architect Lipstick and Liner Daisy?
I do not recommend this product at all. I didn’t expected this from a brand like Tarte. I am not going to repurchase this shade. You can try other shades from this variant if you want when the product is on sale, but this is not one of those products you can rush to buy.
