As you must have seen in the headline, this review is about the Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion from TBS. I have used the Puree Body Lotion from the same range before and I was in love with it. I went to TBS to get it; however, that was out of stock. Instead they suggested this one.
Escape to Japan with cherry blossom. A skin-softening body lotion infused with Japanese Cherry Blossom. This romantic, captivating blend of floral and hinoki wood accords was inspired by a spring day in Kyoto.

My Experience with The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion:
This comes in a classical cylindrical bottle with a white-coloured pump dispenser on the top for easy usage and better hygiene. The light pink label has the sweetest floral design ever! The bottle is transparent, so you know how much product you have used up.
The consistency of the product is really lightweight and thin. This is perfect for summer/spring seasons when you don’t want the sticky feeling which many body lotions impart. This is absorbed quickly into the skin and leaves the skin feeling moisturized without any residue or oily feeling. It does provide some cooling sensation as well.
The smell is of classic cherry blossom flowers. It is comparable to the puree lotion smell, but this one stays longer. I don’t really need a perfume if I use this lotion, but if you are into strong fragrances, you may need a perfume.
Pros of The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion:
- Easy pump dispenser for better hygiene.
- Lightweight formula, which is perfect for spring and summers.
- Moisturizes well, leaving the skin soft and supple.
- Sweet cherry blossom smell, which stays for a long time.
- Not tested on animals.
- Easily available.
Cons of The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion:
- Little bit on the pricey side.
