Tips and Toes Lip Lustre Lipstick – Orchis Review

I have been writing a review after a long time and I just hope IMBB people have not forgotten me. I bought this shade this week because I needed a kick to write regularly on IMBB and I knew nothing would help me other than buying some lipstick 😛 I bought this lipstick because it was pocket friendly and some of the shades are nice.  So, read on more to know how I liked it.

Price:

Rs. 140 for 4 gm, but price is mentioned nowhere.

My Experience with Tips and Toes Lip Lustre Lipstick – Orchis:

The cheap packaging of the lipstick screams that the lipstick is pocket friendly, but it closes nicely and is travel friendly. Another thing that I would like to mention is however careful you try not to break the lipstick bullet; you will find them broken within first or second use.

This shade “Orchis” is reddish pink; it comes out sheer in the first swipe, but covers my pigmented lips in the very first swatch. This lipstick is creamy and saucy, I liked their formula especially at this price. One may need a lip brush to use this because this will melt away in the bullet once it gets a bit old. You can layer this up the way you want, this doesn’t settle in lines.

These lipsticks have a super cheap chemical smell, which goes away once you apply the lipstick. The texture being creamy and saucy, it transfers and goes away easily. So, I apply two swipes of this lipstick and dab it with a tissue and dab some powder and it stays for 5 hours.

Pros of Tips and Toes Lip Lustre Lipstick – Orchis:

• Inexpensive.
• Nice texture, creamy and moisturizing.
• Does not settle into fine lines.

Cons of Tips and Toes Lip Lustre Lipstick – Orchis:

• Bad smell.
• Bad packaging.
• Limited availability.
• Will surely break and melt within a week.

IMBB Rating:

3 out of 5 (I just wish they do something to the chemical smell).

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Tips and Toes Lip Lustre Lipstick – Orchis?

We can experiment with the color provided that the texture is good and the price is low, but otherwise no. I may buy one or two more 😛
