1. Invest in fewer, high-quality makeup products:
Instead of buying twelve different shades of lipstick, and five different types of foundation, concealer or mascara, make sure to buy very few but high-end products that you’re sure to get a use out of.
2. Invest in the right tools:
You can’t perfect your makeup game until you have the right tools. Invest in a high-quality makeup sponge and a few other brushes for multitasking. You may also want to invest in a good eyelash curler.

3. Always start with clean makeup brushes:
Using clean makeup tools every single time can not only help prevent skin infections, but it will help apply your makeup smoothly and evenly.
4. Don’t skip wearing a primer:

5. Always set your makeup:

6. Less is always more:
Don’t pile on all the makeup that you own on your face. You don’t have to wear foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush and lipstick every single day. Highlight only one feature of your face and keep the number of products to a minimum.
7. Fill in your eyebrows:
Your eyebrows frame your face and by filling them in, you can completely transform your makeup look. You should consider filling in your brows even on the days that you are wearing no other makeup—it can make all the difference!

8. Mascara makes all the difference:

Instead of buying multiple single eyeshadows, you may want to invest in a high-quality eyeshadow palette that can help you create multiple looks.

14. Don’t be afraid to mix lip colors:

15. Experiment with consistencies:
