What else you need to know:
Urban Decay’s packaging takes on a modern feel in Naked 2. With an art-school-inspired tin case and a hinged lid, it’s smooth and cool to the touch. Compare Naked 2 with first Naked palette—packaged in warm, rich brown velvet with gold foil lettering and you won’t be able to resist owning both.
My Experience with Urban Decay Naked Palette 2:
The Naked Palette 2 comes in a hard brown color tin metal container with a wide mirror inside. It has a very sleek and classy packaging which is very sturdy and perfect for travel. There are 12 different shadows in this palette just like the Naked Palette 1. Compared to the first Naked Palette, the packaging is very different, the first one comes in a velvet soft packaging but this one is hard and sturdy.
I feel as if these are perfect for traveling because it clicks into place and I know it will not be opening up on its own. Plus all the main colors you need are available in this palette for a neutral or dramatic look, so I won’t ever need to carry another palette, this one is enough. It has a big and wide mirror, compared to the first palette where it is fairly smaller, you can do your entire eye makeup just using this mirror. Another reason it is perfect for travel is the eyeshadow brush which is located just below the colors. It is double sided so it can be used to apply shadow and also blend in the shadows in the crease. The bristles are fairly soft, but a little stiff. I wish it was just a bit fluffier for easier application, but nonetheless, it is still a pretty decent brush, just not the best. It also comes with samples of Urban Decay Primer Potion.
The colors are all very gorgeous in this palette. You have all the essential colors in one palette! The colors are versatile and I can create numerous looks just by using this one palette. It includes various shades which are listed above. It has perfect shades for a highlight color, a transition color, crease color, an all over lid color and basically any other you can think of.
All the shades are very long lasting on their own, I have not had a problem with any single shade. With the Urban Decay Primer Potion it comes with, it lasts me even longer. I can go an entire day wearing these shades with little or no difference in the look by the end of the day.
Overall, I think this product is worth the price and the hype. It is a great investment and you all should definitely give it a try if you have not already.
Can’t wait to do tutorials for IMBB using this wonderful palette.
