This review will be on the last lippy from my Urban Decay Sheer Revolution lipstick haul. This shade is called Sheer Shame.

A super creamy lipstick with a sheer, shiny finish and richly pigmented color.

What it does:
Urban Decay’s Sheer Revolution Lipstick is everything you love about the original Revolution lipstick, but with a sheer, shiny finish. Every shade features a rich, creamy feel and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Like Urban Decay’s original formula, this sheer lipstick hugs lips, sweeping on with an ultra-smooth, budge-free application.

Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™ gives Sheer Revolution its creamy texture, ultimate color dispersion, and extended wear. Infused with a nourishing blend of oils and antioxidants Maxi-Lip™, it defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. Shea butter, jojoba, olive, and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a dose of antioxidants.

My Experience with Urban Decay Sheer Shame Revolution Lipstick:

Packaging:
Comes in a sleek tube very similar to the original Revolution lipsticks but the color of the tube is light purple, instead of the gunmetal which helps you differentiate between them.

Texture:
These lipsticks feel like a cross between lipstick, gloss and a lip balm. They are pretty pigmented for being a sheer lipstick and can almost cover pigmented lips. They have a beautiful glossy finish and feel very hydrating throughout the wear time. They also have a smoothing nature, which means they will smooth out any texture on the lips including fine lines.

Shade:
The shade “Sheer shame” is described as a sheer berry shade. It a beautiful deep berry plum shade. This color is very appropriate for fall winter wear, due to its deep vampy nature, but it still retains it very wearable quality and will suit all skin tones. You can also customize how much opacity you want on your lips. 1 coat will give you a sheer wash for just-bitten lip look, whereas 2-3 swipes will build up the pigmentation to full opacity.

Finish:
The finish is quite glossy looking initially which settles down to a satin finish in 2-3 hours.

Staying Power:
These lipsticks stay for about 4-5 hours on the lips. They fade faster if you eat or drink anything and they are not transfer-proof. They do not leave behind a stain.

Fragrance:
These lipsticks are fragrance-free which is a plus for those who are sensitive to strong scents.

Overall, I totally love this range of lippies by Urban decay and I highly recommend them. There are a must-have, especially shades like Sheer Slowburn and Sheer Streak are perfect for the upcoming spring summer season.
