Here comes the review of Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in the shade Hex (Mega Matte). It is a classic plum toned brown kind of shade. I love matte lipsticks hence, I bought this one. I love the color but, it has its drawbacks. Take a look.

My Experience with Urban Decay Vice Lipstick – Hex (Mega Matte):
I love the bold deep color of plum with a mix of red and brown undertones to it. I find it very thick like one would expect from a mega matte lipstick. I also find this can layer and cake up easily. On me, this dragged a little and also, I found it a little patchy on my lips. No, it is not a super creamy matte nor does it settle into a transfer-proof finish. It is just a thick matte lipstick in a pretty color. I believe there are 9 shades and Alpha is on my list.
I love the case; it is so mysterious and something in it is very addictive, the whole engraving and case color. It has a beautiful packaging for the cost it is retailed for. I love the color-coded sticker too. The lipstick screams mega matte, so be prepared for the dryness. Yes, for my normal lips, this feels on the dry side. Also, I am slightly disappointed with the patchiness. This can be equated to the Chambor powder matte lipsticks. Another lighter dupe for this is The Colorbar matte touch lipstick in the shade Legendary.
I feel it is a mix of brown, plum, red and wine shades. But, when you layer it, this looks very thick and browner. I like to stick to one coat. I find it lasts on me for 2-3 hours and then it turns patchy and dry. Overall, it feels like a normal matte lipstick in a gorgeous packaging.
