I recently did a mini haul and I am really excited to review those products. Today, I am going review the first product from my haul, which is ‘W7 Mega Matte Lips Liquid Lipstick’ in the shade ‘Hasta La Vista’. I am so amazed by this lipstick. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with W7 Mega Matte Lips Liquid Lipstick Hasta La Vista:
Packaging:
The lipstick comes in a very simple and cute colour-coded tube with a velvety black cap. The product never leaks and it is very easy to carry around. The shade name is indicated at the bottom of the tube. It comes with a very nice applicator that spreads the colour evenly on the lips. The brush is good enough and I can easily line my lips with it.
Shade:
They have only four shades in this range and I picked up the shade ‘Hasta La Vista’. On the tube, it looks like a bright true red, but on the lips, it is more of a beautiful subtle red with a pink tone. I love this stunning red for my medium complexion and it totally brightens up my face. The shade is perfect for all skin tones and it is a very wearable red for all; even those who don’t prefer a red lipstick can try this beautiful red. It looks extremely pretty on the lips. Also, the color is so pigmented that it requires only one to two strokes.
Texture and Quality:
It has a beautiful, soft and creamy texture that glides super smoothly on the lips without any tugging. Thanks to the texture, the formula spreads evenly on the lips. It doesn’t feel patchy or sticky and doesn’t set quickly. I can easily layer it up. After a couple of minutes, it sets to a perfect matte finish, which looks stunning on the lips. But it’s a drawback as well. I mean, it takes around 15-20 minutes to dry down completely.
Once it’s nicely set, the formula doesn’t transfer and doesn’t smudge. The best part is that this liquid lipstick never feels dry on the lips, like other liquid lipsticks. This lightweight formula feels so comfortable on the lips and I absolutely love it. It keeps my lips soft and it is good enough for dry lips as well. Also, the color doesn’t settle into the fine lines and never creases either. It has a nice vanilla scent to it too.
Staying Power:
Like any other good matte lip color, it can survive for long – around 5-6 hours, to be precise. But, with a meal, it fades from the centre; in fact, it can’t survive a heavy meal properly. It requires a reapplication. Hence, reapplication never makes it patchy or uncomfortable. It’s so easy to remove from the lips as it does not leave any stain behind.
Overall:
I adore the formula as well as the shade. This lipstick is so affordable but has a beautiful formula. It’s unbelievable to get such quality for this price. This lipstick reminds me of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream as the texture, formula, lasting power, even the smell is very similar. But the price is almost half. You should definitely try this range. I wish they add more shades to this range.
