Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Body Butter Review

Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Body Butter Review

A body butter is what I like to pamper my body with in cold dry winters. Some body butters make huge claims but do not live up to them. Some of them turn up at your door unexpected from relatively unknown manufacturers. I had not heard about the Wild Ferns until I received this body butter. It was only until I researched about the company and the products that I found out about these amazing products.

What the company says about Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Body Butter:

A luxurious body creme containing a blend of pure active Manuka Honey, Shea Butter, Jojoba and Sweet Almond Oil. This wonderful creme with the gorgeous sweet scent of Manuka Honey not only helps with cell renewal, but also moisturizes and soothes to leave your body smooth and deliciously fragranced. Active AAH 650+ Manuka Honey is not only high in antibacterial activity, it is also extremely high in antioxidants. The antioxidants neutralise free radicals caused by everyday environmental factors such as air, sunlight and pollution in the environment. They have been medically recognised as the cause of degenerative skin diseases such as wrinkles and skin discolourations, and can damage cells and harm the immune system. It is believed that using products that are high in antioxidants can help prevent or limit these negative effects. Shea Butter creates the wonderful gleam and creamy texture.  The addition of Sweet Almond Oil, which contains Vitamins A, B, D and E, nourishes and softens your skin making it is an effective all over body moisturiser.

My Take on Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Body Butter:

This body butter comes in a pale yellow plastic tub. The shape of the tub makes it look like a bowl which is really cute.  The body butter is also very light yellow in colour. It is extremely thick and luscious. Its smells very sweet like honey with some vanilla mixed into it. It actually smells delicious. The mild and sweet smell lingers on for at least a couple of hours.

I use this body butter immediately after bathing. The body butter gets absorbed quickly leaving behind a sheen on the skin. The cream does not feel heavy at all. It also does not leave behind any greasiness. The body butter works wonders on my skin. It completely hydrates my skin and makes it look healthy and soft. What I really love about this body butter is that it immediately moisturizes and softens the skin. So much so that I have never come across a product that softens the skin to this extent.

This body butter is completely natural. It is paraben free and does not contain any mineral oils.

Pros of Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Body Butter:

  • Manuka honey has the outstanding ability to nourish, soothe and heal sensitive skin. It also assists in the growth of new cell and tissue regeneration.
