My Experience with YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick No 57
I abssooolutely love my YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipsticks. I think these are probably one of my favourite lipsticks I have in my collection. A lot has to do with the colors as well but these lipsticks are perfection.
I picked up another shade no 57. It’s a unique reddish toned pink. In some lights it looks more red than pink and vice versa.
The packaging is stunning. The case is gold with red ‘YSL’ embossed on it. The same logo is embossed on the lipstick as well.
The finish is satin. The stainy-creamy finish settles down to semi matte stain after a few hours but the colors pretty much stays put for good 5-6 hours. Plus the pinkish stain stays until you remove the lipstick with a makeup remover.
The lipstick is super pigmented. One swipe and it would give an opaque finish. But you can totally deepen the color and it builds up beautifully. Even after a few swipes the lipstick does not look cakey. It does not bleed or feather. It stains a little but I can totally do with that.
The texture is smooth and it glides on the lips without tugging.
The lipstick feels hydrating and does not dry out the lips despite being so long lasting.
There is a faint rosy fragrance to the lipstick that I absolutely love.
I don’t know what else to say except these lipsticks are perfection in every sense. Must grab a few whenever you get the chance. 🙂

THE HAIR!!!! SO gorgeous! I went to BBlunt salon yesterday to get my hair cut in the same style as yours and the hairdresser recognised you from the photo.
