My Experience with Yves Rocher Green Kohl Eye Pencil:
The kohl pencil comes in a plastic cover. So you can be sure that it has not been swatched by anyone. The packaging is hygienic. The kohl pencil is more like a normal pencil with wooden cover and the kohl inside. It has a protective transparent cap. The cap is made of good plastic and does not break. Overall, the product is handy and a must-have in the travel bag. The kohl itself is green in color. It’s the dark olive green which suits all skin tones. The kohl pencil can be used to line the top lid or under the eyes as well. I have also used it for waterlining and tightlining. The pencil glides smoothly and softly all over, making itself user and beginner friendly.
I normally use it in the morning and no touch ups are required till the end of the day. The product lasts long on the eyes. When used as an eyeliner, it does not flake due to the soft formula. It also does not smudge when applied on the waterline. I normally do not wear any other eyeliner than black to work. But there are days when you feel like wearing something colorful, especially during the gloomy days. This color is perfect for such days. It’s a pretty subtle color that adds beauty to the eyes without making them appear OTT.
The product has a very slight shimmer which is visible when observed very closely. The color payoff is really good and it stays on the eyes the entire day. It’s not waterproof, hence is perfect for contact lens wearers like me. The product can easily be wiped out with a makeup remover wipe at the end of the day. I get excited every time I use this product eyeliner. I have used it for smokey eye look and turned out to be just great. For this price, it’s a perfect find. It’s cruelty-free also. I just cannot recommend it enough.
