My Experience with Yves Rocher Relaxing Bath and Shower Gel – Lotus Flower Sage:
The Yves Rocher Relaxing Bath and Shower Gel comes in a small round plastic container with a flip lid. The packaging is very sturdy. The flip lid is little difficult to open as its a bit tight and is also difficult to open with wet hands. It can easily damage the nails. So, I make sure not to use my nails to open it. I mostly use my teeth 😛 But, it’s travel safe since there is no chance for the lid to open automatically. The bottle is also transparent making it easy to know the amount of product left. The packaging is sturdy and stands to look pretty on the bathroom counter.
The outer packaging has beautiful lotus flower petal prints on it making it look feminine. The consistency of the product is viscous, not water-like but a little thicker. The shower gel is light pink in color but looks almost transparent when taken out. The color is hardly noticeable. I use twice a walnut size of the product for my entire body. The shower gel glides smoothly on the skin while creating a good amount of lather. The skin feels smooth and clean after the shower. The product does not make my skin dry. Instead, my skin feels nourished after using it.
The product contains aloe vera extract, sage essential oil and lotus extract. Aloe vera is good for sun burnt skin and also, it soothes the skin. The sage oil has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties; it has a lot of antioxidants too. The lotus extract is full of Vitamin C, B-complex and antioxidants that lead to skin brightening. All these ingredients are a great combination for reviving your skin. The fragrance is very mild and pleasant. Overall, the shower gel works great. The skin feels well-nourished after a shower but, one may have to use a body lotion, especially during colder months.
