A-Derma Epitheliale AH Skin Repair Cream Review

A-Derma+Epitheliale+AH+Skin+Repair+Cream+Review

This is a cream formulated for repairing damaged skin, which is acne scars in my case. I had wanted to review this after seeing a review of the face wash from the same line and was reminded of it again when a doctor prescribed it to my sister recently. It was prescribed to me by my dermatologist to help reduce my acne scarred facial skin. During my teenage years, I used to pop every pimple that appeared on my face, consciously or unconsciously. In my preteens, I thought that once I squeezed them out of my face, they might be gone for good. I guess many of us have gone through that phase.  Now, I am trying everything I can to get rid of the scar-y remnants of my acne. So girls, for the millionth time, do no not pop your pimples. If you do it unconsciously, then don’t make an attempt to sincerely complete the job, just wash, dab some ointment or something like turmeric if you have any and leave it.  So, the review!

Product Description:

A-Derma Epitheliale A.H is a repair cream for damaged skin which contains Rhealba Oat and Hyaluronic acid as the active ingredients.

About the Ingredients:

What exactly is RHEALBA® OAT?

For the past 30 years, the unique and exclusive, Rhealba® Oat has been the plant-based, naturally active ingredient at the heart of every A-DERMA product.

Scar Cream

It has been chosen for its specific properties including:

  • Soothing and anti-irritating.
  • Repairing.
  • Nourishing and hydrating.
  • Anti free radicals.

When atopic and very dry skin becomes damaged, the A-Derma Epitheliale A.H Repairing Cream promotes cutaneous repair. This cream contains essential active ingredients that work to soothe, soften and regenerate the skin of both children and adults. The skin is repaired over time, and becomes better protected against further damage. The Epitheliale cream provides rough and dry skin with all the comfort it needs. Rhealba Oat extract, rich in polyphenols, regulates the release of substances that can lead to skin irritation. An added 0.2% concentration of hyaluronic acid heals the skin with its scientifically acknowledged repairing functions.

Price:

Around 350 INR. People with acne scars would agree that it’s a small price to pay for anything that actually reduces their scarring!

My Experience with A-Derma Epitheliale AH Skin Repair Cream:

This cream is working well for me. I am using it on a regular basis for the past one year, though not every day. I use only at night because I have oily skin and using it in the day will just make my skin greasier. So due to my “cosmetic concerns,” I don’t use it twice a day as instructed, which would probably have brought better results.

This cream has reduced the scarring on my face to a large extent, but has not removed them completely, which is any way too much to expect. It shows results in terms of reduction in scarring only over several weeks or months of usage depending on the amount of scarring you have.  It also works to keep my skin looking alive and bright, probably due to its skin renewal activity. Once I was bothered by my skin looking dull all the time and then I remembered this cream and started using it at nights. I could see visible results within a couple of days. This hasn’t broken me out nor does it increase the greasiness on my face after it is removed. I always wake up to fresh-looking skin after applying this at night.

Cream

So, to sum it up:

Pros of A-Derma Epitheliale AH Skin Repair Cream:

  • If you are one of those acne-scarred beauties, then start using this right away! Keep using it and it will surely give you good results. This is something you can do every day to reduce your scars which would not take up a lot of your time, like face masks or other procedures like chemical peeling and microdermabrasion.
  • The packaging is really good. It’s got a really tiny nozzle, through which only a very thin stream of cream comes out, like a thread. So, no wastage at all!
  • Will serve as an excellent night cream for people without scars too since anyone can benefit from speedy skin renewal and healthier skin.
  • Available in well-stocked medical shops and also online in India and abroad.

Cons of A-Derma Epitheliale AH Skin Repair Cream:

  • In my opinion, there are no cons at all.

Thank you very much for reading this review. Please do share about any products which have helped with your acne scarring.

Take care and stay beautiful inside out, bye!

A fried of mine started using this on a dermatologist’s recommendation.
But yes, I agree, it is pretty slow, but effective product.

Vani, does it help pitted scars too?
Any idea?
