Ayur Cucumber Face Pack

I was desperately searching for some multani mitti for spot treatment of my acne but was not getting one so instead of it I got this Ayur cucumber face pack. The SA said that this face pack is suitable only for oily skin. As the summer has already arrived with its own set of problem I got this pack without a second thought. Today I will review this Ayur face pack so read on more to know how it performed.

Price: Rs 40 for 100g

Shelf life: 36 months

What the product claims

Cucumber is a natural cleanser and moisturizer which cools and nourishes the skin in one step. It removes the dead skin cells and is effective for dark circles around eye area.

Ingredients
Cucumber face pack contains cucumber seed powder mixed with natural ingredients like multani mitti, calamine powder, and kaolin powder.

My experience with the product

This face pack comes in a green paper carton and the inside it the face pack remain sealed in a plastic packet and ayur logo printed on it all over. This face pack is basically a cleanser face pack and the SA told me that this would not do any thing other than cleansing and controlling oil. I have heard some bad reviews about it but still bought it because ayur products have always worked for me and moreover if this doesn’t work, I will not regret because of the price I pay.

This face pack comes in a powder form, you have to mix rose water or tap water for usage. I found this face pack a bit grainy but it does not create problem in mixing or spreading. I love grainy facepacks because of the mild exfoliation I get. After applying this face pack I felt a little tingling sensation which was later converted into a superb cool feeling. I just loved the cooling sensation especially in this weather. It dried within 10 minutes and I felt a bit stretchy and tight. Then I washed it off with cold water, rubbing in circular motion. My face became squeaky clean and super smooth after using this pack. This pack removes all the oil making my face a bit dry but nothing that my aloe gel can’t take care off. It dried my bumps with 1st use and now I am using it as a spot treatment.

Overall this face pack is a good one for oily skinned beauties. But it has a wired subtle smell which disappears whenever I mix it with rose water or toner. I also use it with milk to combat dryness. It makes my skin oil free for 5 hours. But this is a no-no for dry skinned beauties. Now let’s sum up the pros and cons.
