Chambor Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil – Candy Star Review
Hello Beauties,
Today, I am going to review one of my favorite eye pencils that I had purchased a few months back. It’s the Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil from Chambor called “Candy Star.” Actually, once whilst I was browsing through Chambor cosmetics counter for some matte lipsticks, the sales girl came and asked if I required any help. She was wearing one of the shades from this category above her normal black liner and I simply could not take my eyes off her eyes, so unable to hide my attraction, I asked her what she was wearing and ended up making this purchase.

My Experience with Chambor Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil – Candy Star:
True to its name, Chambor Sparkling Eye Liner Pencil in Candy Star is just like a light purple-colored cotton candy with millions of stars woven into it. This color is such that it goes with all different colors of outfit and complements both western and Indian attires thus making it appropriate for night outs and parties. It is a wooden pencil with a see-through colored lid and the shade is exactly similar as the pencil appears, so I don’t have to search about in my stash of lip and eye liners.
The texture is creamy and waterproof and gets blended easily. Its wooden form makes sharpening very easy unlike those Maybelline Vivid and smooth eye liners that come in some plastic pencil form. Since I use contacts, I need to be very careful regarding what I use on my eyes and I think these pencils are simply wonderful. Sometime, I simply smudge it after application and use it as a base to get that glam look. It gives more of a silvery look when smudged and blended. The staying power is really good with about 5 hours without a base and does not cause any fall outs unless under dire circumstances when we feel the need to shed a few tears and rub our eyes in the process 😛
Swatches:
Pros of Chambor Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil – Candy Star:
- Nice light purple color with silver glitters.
- Great for night outs and parties.
- Wooden pencil form makes sharpening easier, hygienic and travel friendly.
- Creamy formula and intense pigmentation.
- Waterproof.
- Glides and blends easily.
- Lasts for about 5 hours.
Cons of Chambor Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil – Candy Star:
- Would look overdone for daytime wear.
- The super creamy formula sometimes causes the tip to break easily, so needs to be used and sharpened with care.
Other than those negligible cons mentioned above, I could not find any cons with this product.
Will I Repurchase Chambor Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil – Candy Star?
Absolutely, along with other shades in this range too.
Do I Recommend Chambor Sparkling Eyeliner Pencil – Candy Star?
I believe this one is a great eye pencil that makes application easier, stays longer, and works great both as a shadow and a liner. For all those who love a glam look, this is a must have in your vanity.
