I am here with my third Clinique lipstick in a gorgeous warm peach brown orange kind of shade in a soft glossy but a little sheer finish. The color is very well suited to Indian skin tones to say the least and the color does not have any shimmer to it, just creamy gloss finish so it makes for a great day wear an office wear lipstick
Like I always say I love the packaging in a silver heavy metal casing, so unlike the other lipsticks we have. The case is so sturdy and click locks in place it comes in a simple cardboard with a pretty motif on it, I like to keep the box, somehow it is boring but still elegant in the way it is not loud or colourful like other makeup packaging.
The color is a nice warm one but let m talk about the texture a bit, the texture is smooth and glossy but it is a bit on the sheer side, the lipstick glides smoothly and one coat gives a sheer but colored finish, but the lipstick is very buildable to say. I like thicker lipsticks so I like at least two coats of this which makes it even glossier.
The staying power is above average,I fail to understand why it is called long last, though it stays fairly long but it is not a long last lipstick, on the good side it does not bleed, or flake it keeps lips moisturised and nourished.
I recommend this to dry lips, for day and office and college wear but pigmented lips can skip it.
