My Experience with ColourPop HoneyDude Liner Creme Gel Pencil:

ColourPop eyeliner comes in two forms – Gel Pot and Gel Liners. There is a wide variety of colours ranging from dark black to cool blues. Everyone can find a shade that they love from this range. The eyeliners come in two finishes – Matte and Metallic. I personally find gel liners way better than the gel pots.

This year, I have been so drawn to everything metallic and glittery. I have bought metallic lipsticks to liquid lipsticks and now here I am with metallic eyeliners.

This ColourPop gel liner comes in a twist-up white plastic pen type of packaging with a white cap. The side of the pen has ColourPop written on it in golden letters. The product comes in white cardboard box. The packaging is very light weight and travel friendly. The pen is super slender and sleek, which makes the storage easy.

“HoneyDude” is a true matte warm n*de shade. I love this shade! It’s a perfect liner if you want your eyes to look more wide open. I wear this liner most of the times when I feel my eyes are looking tired. The liner is water resistant. The eyeliner stays on my oily eyelids for a good 6 to 8 hour. It starts to fade on the inner corners first. But that can be easily fixed by reapplying the liner.

The texture of the gel liner is very creamy, for both the matte and metallic liners. You need to be very careful while applying this liner. Due to its creamy formula, the liner tends to break a lot during application. So make sure you don’t twist up a lot of product during application. It takes a while to learn how to apply these liners without breaking them. The liner glides so smoothly on my lower eye. I find the gel-based formula comparable to high-end eyeliners.

These liners are very long wearing. I can easily remove this eyeliner with an oil-based makeup remover. I mainly use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup and it works really well.
