Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs Eau De Toilette

Hello Ladies,

How are you all today? Thursday already? I cannot wait for the weekend! This week has been super tiring for me and it is just going to get more hectic now, need my winter break already. Well, on the bright side, I have a really pretty product to review for you. Its Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs. Definitely one of my favourite designers, always loved his contribution in LV as well as his independent design and fragrances. I purchased this perfume for mother dearest as one of her presents on her birthday.

My Experience with Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs Eau De Toilette :

It’s said or at least that’s what I have read, that Marc Jacobs was inspired by the open clear blue skies and daisies while producing this pretty perfume. The packaging quiet simply does reflect this inspiration. The baby/ sky blue and cool tones and beautiful flowers laced around the bottle really make the packaging stand out from any other perfume in the market. It’s so very eye catching and extremely lush to look at. There are three variants to the sizes as do most perfumes. So you can take your pick and opt for the best suited one for you.

As for the fragrance,if any of you would have used or even taken a whiff of Marc Jacobs daisy you might note some resemblance in the floral fragrance in this daisy dream. However, this one is slightly more lighter and airy floral for me. It’s perfect for the summer months due to its delicate fragrance. Although it’s suggested on the website and in the store as a fragrance that’s more fruity and floral, a single spritz is enough to suggest that the floral is at a higher notch than the floral. The Blackberry, pear and jasmine definitely stand out for me during the first spray. The fragrance has a really good staying power as well, it stays on me for a really long time. I can smell the delicate fragrance on me the whole day and I do not need to reapply it again. But if you want to smell as fresh as a daisy (yes I did that deliberately :p), spray some more and you’re good to go.

Overall I really am loving this fragrance, despite being mummy’s, I am for sure using it more than her. Sorry mumma, I know you’re reading this. But on a serious note, if you are a big fan of delicate floral scents, this one is definitely for you.

Pros of Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs Eau De Toilette :

• An absolutely lovely packaging, definitely eye catching and luxurious.
• Smells absolutely divine, the delicate floral fragrance is perfect for a summer day or enough to spruce your winters up.
• Lingers on your skin for hours to come, you can smell it throughout the day.
• Did not give me a headache, or even a mild one- a major concern for me for fragrances.

Cons of Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs Eau De Toilette :

– Cannot think of any to be honest, maybe the availability in India, I am not sure though- you get practically everything there- Long Live Alpha.

Will I repurchase Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs Eau De Toilette?

Well, since this bottle was bought for my mum, and as lovely as she is, she never stops me from using any of her stuff. I might just purchase it so that it can sit pretty on my vanity table (yes I shall use it too :P).
