How are you all doing? I recently picked up 2 lipsticks from Diana of London, just to try out their new super matte range! While the nude one did not work that great for me, I am in love with this red one. There were so many reds but this seemed very classy, so I brought it home. Read to know more about this classy red.

My Experience with Diana of London 06 Demure Red Super Matte Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a red cardboard box with the name written over it. The lipstick looks very similar to the signature Diana packaging. I love how cute the box and the lipstick look! The shade name and number are written at the base but I wish the packaging was colour coded because they have a lot of shades to choose from. The shade selection variety is just mind-blowing, but there are only a limited number of shades in India. There is no flaw with the packaging since everything is in its place. But I feel the price is a bit high since we can get better brands and better quality at that price.
Shade: The shade “Demure Red” is a deep cranberry red which is very bright and bold. The shade can be called a perfect red because it is bright and deep at the same time. It adds a lot of glamour to my face the moment I apply it. There are those days when I don’t feel like applying any make-up and I know this would surely do the trick. The pigmentation is really great which can cover pigmented lips easily. The red is a perfect one for brides. It totally creates a romantic as well as a bridal look. I also find it great for evening wear for parties and functions. This red will compliment all the skin-tones beautifully and will suit any age-group whoever want to try it.
Texture and finish: The texture is super creamy and glides like butter on my lips. No tugging or pulling, it perfectly defines my lip shape. The application is pretty even and gets applied entirely in just one go. It does not cling to dry patches and does not settle in fine lines, so I would recommend the bolder shades because nude shades work the opposite way. The finish is semi matte in the beginning since the texture is creamy but it soon turns matte after a while. After 1 hour, it turns totally matte which looks really gorgeous.
Staying power: This particular shade is a very bold one so it stays for more than 4-5 hours with full meals. And for 5-6 hours with a few snacks. Some colour does get ripped off after a meal but the stain stays bright and bold. So overall, the staying power is good.
A big yay for the bolder shades of this range!

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Diana of London 06 Demure Red Super Matte Lipstick?
I wouldn’t pick the same red as there are so many more reds to try but yes I am trying some other shades from them. Totally recommend if you want a bright deep red lipstick!
Conclusion:
This red impressed me but if you see then at Rs 725 you can get better lipsticks from better brands!
