It has been a while since I shopped, and this was a part of my birthday haul. They consisted of random things clothes and stuff. It was awesome turning 21! Now, let’s head to the review.

My Experience with Elle 18 Blonde Pink Color Boost Lipstick:
Packaging: These are very similar to the old Elle 18 lipsticks only that the cap is in a hot pink color. It does make a difference as it is more attractive. Also, the bullet does not have a balmy core like the former, but has a colored core. The shade name and number are given at the bottom. It is easy to carry around.
Shade: Blonde Pink is a peachy pink overall. The outer portion of the bullet appears to be an orangy-pink while the core is just a shade darker than the outer one. It does have loads of chunky shimmers. It appears very beautiful when swatched nonetheless. This may not suit dusky beauties though.
Texture and Pigmentation: The texture is really smooth and creamy. It does not tug or pull at any stage. For a hundred and fifty it is a total steal in terms of texture and color. Pigmentation is also good and you will need not more than 2 swipes for complete coverage. Maximum color payoff is got in the first swipe. I found this a bit drying, but just a tiny bit. Exfoliation is needed prior to application because of the shimmers.
Staying Power: It stays for around 3 hours on me and I find that it creases a little. It transfers at the slightest touch which is a turn-off. It fades somewhat unevenly, leaving behind the shimmers which spread all over. It survives light meals, but don’t expect it won’t budge. Touch ups are needed.

• Glides on lips without tugs and pulls.

• Nicely pigmented too.
• Staying power is average, about 3 hours.

Cons of Elle 18 Blonde Pink Color Boost Lipstick:
• It’s a little drying.
• Shimmers are a big turn off as they are chunky.
• Transfers even at the slightest touch.
• Fades somewhat unevenly.

I highly recommend this lipstick as it is a total steal and worth every penny. Except for some minor flaws, I think it is a great lipstick to own.
