My Experience with Essence 10 Best Friends Duo Eyeshadow:

Packaging: This eyeshadow comes in small, rectangular, see-through plastic container with a clear cap. This clear packaging makes it easy to identify the product, and it is very lightweight too. It has a sliding cap that closes with a click. But it doesn’t have any mirror or applicator brush. Still it is a cute, travel-friendly packaging, and is super affordable also.

Shade: ‘10 Best Friends’ is a nice pastel palette that contains two beautiful, fresh and summery shades. One is a light lavender shade and the other one is a nice pastel blue shade. Both the shades have silver shimmers in them, but they are not actually visible on the eyelid. These shadows look so fresh and summery on the lids. It is a perfect daytime palette. In the pan, both the shades look so beautiful but unfortunately the shades are not very pigmented. As hand swatches, they look nice, but on the lids a lot of swipes are needed for the true color to show up. Hence I would suggest you to use these in wet form.

Quality & Texture: The shadows have soft and smooth texture that blends easily on the eyes without any effort. The texture is very fine and never feels chalky. I really like how easily these shadows blend on the eyelids. Both the shades have nice and even velvety-matte finish. They never feel dry or patchy. There is a little fall out issue during application too, but that won’t bother you. These shadows do not transfer, but they do fade a little as pigmentation is not sufficient.

Staying Power: These eye shadows have an average staying power without a primer. They stay perfectly for around 4 hours and after that they look faded on my oily lids. But, with a primer, they stay better.

Overall: I like these fresh shades and the texture also. These pastel shadows look really nice on the eyes and both the shades are pretty wearable also. Still pigmentation could have been better.

I like these shades but the pigmentation is a little low. Buy it only if you love the shades and don’t mind wet application.
