It is finally time to wrap up with the lip cremes from faces. The last final two corals from my end would be ‘Cosmopolition’ and ‘French Sangria’. So now moving on to the details.

Product Description:
Ultimate pro lip crème is an absolutely super soft, smooth and moisturizing lip gloss that promises one stroke hi shine coverage. It is completely opaque, highly pigmented, does not transfer, bleed or feather and stays on for hours at a stretch. Inspired by the colors of mesmerizing cocktails, lip crème gives you the color intensity of the lipstick and luster of a gloss.

My Experience with Faces Cosmopolition Ultime Pro Lip Creme:

Packaging:
As I have been using a lot of these lip crèmes, I find them comfortable, easy to spot with the color coded labels. I secretly keep wishing for a better packaging for the price paid. For someone like me who carries more of this around, I would definitely fall for a fancy cute packaging. Faces glosses and lip crème tubes spell ‘I am simple, classy and I serve the purpose’, and there it ends and that is about it. Let us hope for cute or interesting packaging in the future, at least from Faces as the prices are slowly hiking up.

Color:
This shade has is a hybrid of hibiscus pink red or it is more like a shade of a red apple which is half ripe. The corals blend in there. A playful, sporty, summer coral leaning mostly towards the red-pink side. For me personally this color lifts up my spirit, if the magic does not happen, it is the finish that has to be blamed for. :/ This particular shade’s upside is that it would suit varied skin tones and complexions with the right makeup on.

Texture:
The lip crème is smooth in its consistency and does not weigh heavy on the lips. Although less dense, you can expect to feel it on your lips like you are wearing something. It feels like a crème, not dry but does not hydrate the lips.

Coverage and Pigmentation:
For a bright color like this, I sometimes go with just a single coat depending on my mood and trust me it looks beautiful. A single neat swipe with a liner should look even better. Very pigmented for a lip crème and it transfers a lot for the same reason. Expect pretty stained lips with multiple coats only but no matter what without the use of a base (balm + liner), this would does not sail. The uneven finish and the pigmented portion cannot be justified. It is a lip crème ladies, cannot expect more. Providing a mediocre coverage and just the right amount of shine with zero shimmers, I am satisfied with these lippies.

Staying Power:
I can guarantee you this that they will last you a meal, a snack and a drink, and water if left undisturbed; maybe even longer. The milder the shade, expect zero stain, the denser the shade be prepared to see stains and product transfers. Otherwise, expect pretty stained even after having a full glass of a mocktail.

Overall, with the corals, neutrals and the bright colors these lip crèmes offer are like binging over a basket of apples, cherries, pomegranates, figs, guavas and melons with a punch of white rum beside. Although a bit pricey, this range is value for money. Make sure you get at least the best of the two from this range; one of them could be ,‘Cosmopolitian’.

• The doe-foot applicator – very soft and comfortable, gives a continuous smooth finish
• Well pigmented product for a lip crème that would work in favor of medium pigmented lips and dusky complexions
• Does not bleed or feather
• Has a good staying power
• Easy re-application
• Paraben and lanolin free

Cons of Faces Cosmopolition Ultime Pro Lip Creme:

• Pricey for a lip crème
• Does not moisturize your lips but does not exactly dry your lips out
• Although easy to reapply, it leaves a pink colored uneven stain making lines and gaps visible
• Being the color it is, it does stain and transfer quite a lot

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Faces Cosmopolition Ultime Pro Lip Creme?
Once I finish this tube, and if it is still out there in the market, I might repurchase. If you are someone who can embrace a cheery red with pop of shine, then I say go for Cosmo, if not no!

Verdict:
It s a little tricky shade, but worth a single trial.
