My sis is blessed with great creativity and an artistic hand, but post wedding & shifting to US, she could not pursue her hobby until we both met here again. She brought me a gorgeous Bite Beauty Holiday Lip Set and Sally Hansen Nail Grooming products, but sadly I am not much into nail care, however, I totally grabbed this opportunity to learn a few of her tricks and designs. And so I share this gorgeous yellow striper from Sally Hansen today which can be doubled up as nail enamel and I feel it actually does the good job as a Nail Enamel over Nail Art.

Packaging: These creamy babies come in trendy and sturdy glass bottle packaging with fine striper brush. It does have faint smell, which is pretty subtle and not overpowering. At first sight the brush seems apt for nail art, however, it is quite a disappointment.

My Experience With Sally Hansen I Love Nail Art Striper in Yellow:

Well this is my first experience with Striper Nail Enamel and Nail Art as well, though I always admired my sister’s nail art and tried them with usual nail paints. I totally deeply love this yellow shade which is so bright and cheerful. It enhances skin tone so well and almost pairs up with all my deeper and bright nail paints except few. However I wish their brush tip could have been little pointed and sturdy unlike thin flexible brush, which seem quite tricky for creating fine & precise lines.

I have no complaints with texture and quality of nail enamel since it is so thick and perfect for even doubling as nail shade apart from creating nail art. It dries up within seconds hence, no messing up with nail art and designs. If only that brush would have been little better! I feel for beginners, especially this brush is inappropriate, since it is too much flexible and is major cause of those streaky lines.

The nail enamel stays put for good 5-6 days without stripping or chipping. I simply love the shade and texture and prefer using local nail art brushes over its applicator. I think if you are beginner in nail grooming, then you should invest in good nail art kit before trying this product. However, since it can also be used as nail paint hence you should totally try it out for same.

• A thick creamy nail enamel intended to be used for fine designs and nail art, though it can also be used as nail paint shade.
• A bright and mood enhancing yellow shade with no shimmers.
• It dries out pretty fast within seconds irrespective of using as nail paint or simply nail design.
• It does not require any top coat for finish.
• It alone gives pretty good color pay off and finish.
• Perfect thick consistency for creating fine designs as well as using as nail paint alone.
• Quite affordable and user friendly packaging.

Cons of Sally Hansen I Love Nail Art Striper in Yellow:

• Its flexible brush is big time disappointment.
• Its brush is a no-no for beginners like me.

Will I Re-Purchase Sally Hansen I Love Nail Art Striper in Yellow?

Well, this is my first nail art striper product, which is good up to some extent in terms of texture and finish. However, I have tried much better Sally Hansen products. I personally loved the shade and product, but not keen to try it again since we have many good nail grooming kit in market with shades. Probably I will try other products.
