I went and did a little haul today. I haven’t posted a haul in a while so thought I’d share one with you today. 🙂
I picked up my favourite shampoos from L’occitane. In emergency I used a shampoo from Dove and it gave me such a major hairfall. I literally went into shock seeing the amount of hair strands I started loosing after using the shampoo . Then I read a similar experience on IMBB HERE. I had used the Oxygen Moisture Shampoo. Later I went to the salon to get a blow dry done because I wanted to be sure if the shampoo was the cause. They used L’oreal shampoo and I barely had hair fall. Someone recently mentioned on instagram that the Dove body lotion is making her skin darker. I mean what’s wrong, Dove? So anyway I decided to go back to the hair care that I trust the most.
- L’occitane Repairing Shampoo for Dry and Damaged Hair
- L’occitane Repairing Conditioner for Dry and Damaged Hair
I also picked up L’occitane Almond Body Scrub.
- A cutie Polka Dot Mirror from Forever 21
- I abbbsolutely love the Chanel Stylo lipsticks so I want to cover the rest of the shades too on IMBB. Chanel Stylo Lipsticks in shades 202 Conte and 204 Article. I could not find 1-2 more shades from the range. I’d check at the other store. 🙂
- Toni & Guy Heat Protectant Spray. This is my second bottle. Absolute fan.
- Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray. We’d see how this goes. 🙂
- Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in shade Toffee. Since I travel quite a bit, my skintone keeps changing every time I am back from a vaccy. I am a little tanned these days so I picked up a darker shade that I can mix in all my foundations to make a custom shade. 🙂 Why doesn’t this foundation have a pump? We are in 2016…:|

I used to wonder about it when i would read international bloggers mentioning their winter and summer shade for foundation. i would somehow manage between summer and winter coz you invariably have a foundation which is slightly darker or slightly lighter. But this last trip was utter havoc for the skin – it was like a month and a half of pool and sun! Needless to say, none of my foundations were matching. So i had to pick a new MAC one just for the summer. But this sounds like a better idea. This is like the Custom drops from FX or the Body shop!!
N Dove shampoo is killer for Hair!!

Lol Thankfully I never have to face this issue. I stay mostly the same throughout the year. Works in my favour coz when I go to makeup counter to get color matched and they ask me how many shades do I vary And how many bottles I want. I say just one please 😀 .. My wallet stays happy too
kulpreet, honestly my skin stays pretty much the same throughout but all this travel has been a new shocker for me in terms of skin tone. All my foundations have started looking ashy and then i had to put my foot down and do something about it. I mean i have like the best foundations and all of them are just not agreeing with my skintone now. 🙁 I agree…like custom make rather than picking up whole new set of foundations. 🙂

The polka dots mirror is so cute. I have always had hair fall with Dove shampoos. I have just given up hope on them and never buy any dove hair care.
I know seriously. I was shocked to see the amount of hairfall and nothing else had changed in my haircare…then obviously for all the beauty queries you return to imbb only. hhaha and a bit of research did prove me right.

I have major hairfall after my pregnency I dnot knw why……coz m having quite nutritional diet den even hairfall…..thinking about changing my shampoo…yesterday only I saw ur hair care routine post….n toay dis haul post…m definitely going to try this shampoo…is it available at sephora????
Parminder, the post pregnancy hair fall could also be due to depletion of body nutrients and minerals. It may not be just external cause. Get your tests done and show to a doc. A course of hair supplements might help!
i agree with kulpreet. parminder, loccitane has stores in delhi ..in select city and dlf promenade. you may buy these from there. 🙂 good luck. 🙂

Dove sucks all time, I personally don’t like any of their products, in emergency I’m ready to switch to the cheapest shampoo but not Dove and yeah high five for the L’occitane shampoo & conditioner, it’s my favourite combo too!

I can totally understand your problem related to foundations coz this is so me everytime I visit shops or move out :cry I dunno why every other makeup artist or SA I meet have diffreent opinions about my skin tone even :headbang one says you are yellow undertone and other day MUA told me No you are pink undertone and she applied foundation intended for pink tones which surprsingly worked equally gud on me but then summers are here and my pet peeve foundations are already turning ashy on me so I use mix n match therapy now.. 😀 your haul pics are super duper tempting.. <3
